Mark S. Germain

I recently hired Mark Germaine for my case and I hired him with very little time to work with before I was set to go to trial already with a public defender. I didn't feel the public defender had much if any time to devote nor care about my side and didn't feel I was getting a fair shake. So, I resea...rched a lot of different attorneys and spoke with several before deciding Mark was the guy I needed. He and his team went to work the first day he was hired and Mark had good results just days later. His legal aide was very knowledgeable and prompt in keeping me up to date on the case. Given the facts of the case I believe his advice was the best option and route for us to take. He worked several times with the state to get me the best outcome to expect. Being pleased with the deal already and heading into the courtroom he still managed to get me even better results at the last minute. I think the legal fees were fair and I was happy with the payment plan he was able to set up that worked with both parties. The representation was stellar and I would definitely hire Mark Germaine again if I'm ever in an unfortunate incident and looking for the best outcome. Everyone I dealt with in the firm was extremely professional and nice! Zero complaints here... oh, and the girl at the front desk isn't bad on the eyes either!!!

My son was arrested in August and charged with DUI, driving 21MPH over speed limit and possession of drug paraphernalia. This was the first time in my 64 years that I needed to find a lawyer We received about a dozen advertisements from lawyers in Brevard County and after talking to a few via teleph...one calls, we met with Mark Germain and decided to have him represent him. My hope and prayer was that we made a great decision. Mark was very accommodating in walking us thru the process, answering our questions and keeping us informed. We were scheduled to appear in Judge Koons’ Courtroom on April 6th, and said we were ready to go to trial. We were told that we needed to be on “2-hour call”, meaning that when we were called, we needed to be in Court in Viera in two hours. If called while at work, my son needed to immediately find a reason to leave and had about a 1- ½ hour drive from Orlando. Mark was able to work thru the system to let us know on Tuesday evening that we needed to be in Court at 8:30AM the next day. I was out of town on business, so my wife went with my son. I received a phone call early on Wednesday from my son, telling me that Mark Germain had worked out a very favorable “plea deal” and he asked for my opinion. I told him to consult with Mark and he accepted a plea deal down to reckless driving, and probation on drug paraphernalia charge. I give Mark and his staff the highest rating for the handling of this case.

Mr. Germain was retained by us a few months back. It was for a Violation of probation . He kept me informed throughout the process and while he was in court since I couldn't be there. He made sure that we got the deal that we had discussed even though there were obstacles during court that day. In... the end we got the best deal and had other charges dropped. He made sure to let me know if any problems came up to call him immediately and he would handle them. He absolutely did the job he was hired for, and I would recommend him to anyone.

I went to Mark Germain at my wits end after dealing with another group of attorneys (Funk, Szachacz, and Diamond LLC) who did absolutely nothing to help me. I wasn't getting any return phone calls or any questions answered and was walking into court with no idea what I was going into. I was being f...orced to make decisions without having all the information I wanted pertaining to my case. So I called the office of Germain and Coulter, after hours, two days before my next court date. The secretary was still there and she answered, listened to my story and set up an appointment for the following day. It was clear from the first time I spoke with Mark that I would actually be getting the help I needed. I had asked my previous attorney for the Discovery and the Officer's dash cam tape, and he couldn't produce it after almost six months. Mr. Germain had it for me within 2 weeks. After watching the tape he came to the same conclusions I did, and my case has finally been resolved, adjudication withheld. I never had to wonder what was going to happen at my next court date, both Mark and James were easy to reach, and they both gave me and my mom their personal cell number to call at any time with any questions. I had a very easy time communicating with them, and their secretary, Monique, was a delight to work with as well. We talked back and forth through email, and she always gave me detailed information whenever I needed it. I will always first recommend Mr. Germain or Mr. Coulter to any friend that needs legal help, and I'll always carry their card with me in case I need anything ever again. After my first dealings with lawyers, my faith was restored that they're not all bad, and that having a lawyer you feel you can trust makes the whole unpleasant process work much more smoothly. Thank you so much, it makes me feel better now to know someone who can help with legal battles, especially in a time when a person is guilty until proven innocent.
