Mark S. Germain

My strong sense of justice and compassion made pursuing a career as a criminal defense attorney the best path for me to pursue. I graduated from Stetson University in 2004 with a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). This helped build a strong foundation in my work as an Assistant Public Defender in Florida's 18th Judicial District.

I opened the doors to The Law Offices of Germain & McCarthy alongside attorney Bryan McCarthy. Our private practice law firm allowed me to continue working to defend the rights of individuals facing criminal accusations while using every resource available. I represent clients facing a variety of criminal offenses, including domestic violence, traffic violations, DUI, theft charges, and other misdemeanor and felony offenses. The law firm receives cases throughout Eastern and Central Florida, including Melbourne, Palm Bay, Orlando, Port St Lucie, Titusville, and nearby areas.

I am an active member of the Florida legal community. Having recently been elected to President of the Brevard County chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, I spend a lot of time preparing for the meetings and working on way to better the criminal legal community in Florida. I also serve on the state board for this great organization and take part in the yearly meetings we sponsor across the state.

I enjoy helping in the community.  I have been able to volunteer with projects that help the big brother and big sister organization as well as local women shelters. 

I am always looking forward to meeting with new clients, and I enjoy helping them with their legal issues.  When I am not at work or involved in a community project, I enjoy fishing and reading.
