Scott Schlegel

Scott has been my lawyer since March. I hired him after a recommendation. Scott promised that he would get me to the point of feeling like a father again because I was losing faith. Yesterday at mediation Scott delivered on that promise. I got everything I asked for and more. I couldn’t have imagined... having a better outcome. I don’t wish my situation on anyone but if you had to have someone in your corner, get Scott and trust in the process. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

The reason I decided to retain Schlegel Law Group was because, I was unhappy with the direction my paternity case was going with my former attorney and decided to r...etain Schlegel Law Group for further assistance. My case was quite difficult as I was a father attempting to establish paternity and gain majority custody. I feel that the level of care that was exhibited in handling my case was excellent because, Scott took on a previous case that had already been through mediation and had other challenges. Scott Schlegel demonstrated knowledge and professionalism while assisting me during trial. I would absolutely recommend Schlegel Law Group.

After you pay your extremely high retainer which is NOT refundable (unlike most lawyers who do not take your unearned money), he will go dark and not respond to any questions. During an extremely important part of our case, he left the state for a month and failed to respond regarding upcoming hearin...gs. As a result, we lost the case and partial custody of the child he was supposed to be defending. We now have a new attorney and the experience and level of professionalism far exceeds Scott, but we cannot get back the custody we lost. Please read the comments of reviewers who gave low stars. I would agree with everything mentioned. I question anyone who gave him more than one star.

I would definitely hire Scott again! He walked in to court with me to fight for my babies and what was in their best interest! He was smooth and a quick thinker! I was absolutely amazed.
