Cynthia was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Orlando, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at the University of Central Florida. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015.
Before law school, Cynthia was active in the community, advocating for the needs of Central Florida’s elderly community as a social worker with Seniors First, Inc. Later, she devoted her time to working with individuals battling substance abuse and addiction. While in law school, Cynthia participated in several extracurricular activities including participating in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s 19th Annual Uvaldo Herrera Moot Court Competition and publishing an article discussing indigenous human rights in South America.
Cynthia’s hobbies include traveling and spending time with her family. She is a member of the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
