About Michael

Biography

Michael is a life long Florida native, born in a solid blue-collar suburb. From a young age Michael understood the value of hard work, working with his father in the construction industry. His sense of service and commitment to helping others inspired him to join the military shortly after 9/11. Michael supported combat search-and-rescue and counter-terrorism operations as a USAF airborne radio operator aboard rescue aircraft, where he learned many life lessons and values that he takes with him throughout his law practice.

Michael is a fighter who voluntarily deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, North Africa, and to disaster relief operations around the world; he was recognized as the 2005 Airman of The Year. After receiving his business degree and his securities licenses he worked for an investment bank before attending law school.

After graduating in the top ten percent of his class, Michael worked as a Prosecutor, where he learned critical trial skills in the direct and cross examination of hostile witnesses and experts. Michael expanded on this foundation by moving on to work for a top civil trial firm which represented major auto manufacturers in roll-over crashes and tire manufacturers in blow-out cases resulting in death or great bodily harm. Michael saw first-hand how the rich and powerful can use their unlimited money and resources to bury the little guy.

These experiences have seasoned Michael in making YOUR presentation of the evidence before a Judge in your case. In the family law arena, Michael has regularly stood up against the fancy high priced law firms in town and has been victorious many times. He has represented clients in complex divorces and highly contested child custody (time-sharing) cases. He has also represented clients charged from high profile sex crime offenses to felonies punishable by life. He has tried cases up to felonies punishable by life and has been victorious. He has also successfully represented clients whose civil cases were declined by the big “bill board” attorneys in town and has successfully recovered over 1 million dollars for clients in wrongful death and other catastrophic injuries cases.

My Lawyer for Life

Mike was a one in a million find. And here in Orlando, there are a million lawyers. Every one of them I contacted seemed to want to take my money and put me on the back burner. Mike Mackhanlall was up front, honest and extremely confident. He has every right to be. I violated probation and was f...acing prison time and after contacting Mike, whom I feel I can be on a first name basis with, I was at ease. I surrendered myself, and as he told me, I was in front of the judge within 5 days. We set the next court date and was pretty much on my way. All in all, because of his expertise and relationship with the judicial system, I spent no more than 2 minutes in a court room over a span of 2 trips. Rather than prison, he was able to convince the judge to reinstate probation and get me back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend him for your needs. He won't jerk you around, give you any false information or hopes, or leave you hanging in the breeze. Well worth every single cent you can pay him. Now that my criminal situation is squared away, he is willing to help with my paternity and custody case. He is and will be my go to lawyer for life.

fourth time using mr. mike!! dismissed each time

I have had a string of bad luck and was arrested four time over the course of one year, some were for serious felonies, and other misdemeanors. I went to mike each time, and each time, i dont know how but he was able to get the cases dimissed. This fourth time, I am extremely extremely worried, and... mike did not make any false promises, because this will be the fourth try from the government to put me in prison and convict me....... NOPE mike was able to get it dismissed again after a long while negotiation with the state. Now I have no convictions on my record and i can begin sealing and expungement my records and focus on my new born baby....i think i am over getting arrested.

Mr. Mack Thank you!!

I mean this 100% i have a record and was scoring 4 yrs for a burglary. The case has been pending for two years and the DA finally threw in the towel, I got 4 months in county and that was it! Mike found witnesses i didnt knew existed, and he took depositions from every single witness. he filed motio...ns on my behalf some loss es and some wins. I saw him firsthand in court arguing and pushing back against a judge that wantedd to send me to prison for life. I can definitely see that he exhausted every option on my behalf short of jury trial which we were going forward with before the state through in the towl and gave me time served. this was tought case and I am happy its over with, I have had other attornyesn and none compared to mike. I never felt out of the loop, and he alwasys always picked up the phone.

GOT ME A SETTLEMENT VERY QUICKLY

Mike is a great attorney. I was reffered to him by a friend who also used him. I fell in a nail salon and hurt my back. the establishment wouldnt pay for my medical bills even thought i have been going there for 5 yrs. I met with quick and he soon got on the case, and had the video footage of the... incident. I saw him in action at mediation where he negotiatived aggresively with the insurance adjuster. I left there with a favorable settlement in no time. I will be using Mike again!

Mack Takes care of business- I am so thankful

Mack handled my felony case from start to finish. I was referred to him by a friend that came highly recommnded, i was going through a really messy divorce and had it out with my wife. Mike kept me informed throughout the process and always made time for me when i came by the office. I was really ...impressed. the pocess was very open with me and he let me hear the 911 calls and see all the evidence. i got a great result in my case and was able to move on with my life.
