About Michael

Biography

Michael is a life long Florida native, born in a solid blue-collar suburb. From a young age Michael understood the value of hard work, working with his father in the construction industry. His sense of service and commitment to helping others inspired him to join the military shortly after 9/11. Michael supported combat search-and-rescue and counter-terrorism operations as a USAF airborne radio operator aboard rescue aircraft, where he learned many life lessons and values that he takes with him throughout his law practice.

Michael is a fighter who voluntarily deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, North Africa, and to disaster relief operations around the world; he was recognized as the 2005 Airman of The Year. After receiving his business degree and his securities licenses he worked for an investment bank before attending law school.

After graduating in the top ten percent of his class, Michael worked as a Prosecutor, where he learned critical trial skills in the direct and cross examination of hostile witnesses and experts. Michael expanded on this foundation by moving on to work for a top civil trial firm which represented major auto manufacturers in roll-over crashes and tire manufacturers in blow-out cases resulting in death or great bodily harm. Michael saw first-hand how the rich and powerful can use their unlimited money and resources to bury the little guy.

These experiences have seasoned Michael in making YOUR presentation of the evidence before a Judge in your case. In the family law arena, Michael has regularly stood up against the fancy high priced law firms in town and has been victorious many times. He has represented clients in complex divorces and highly contested child custody (time-sharing) cases. He has also represented clients charged from high profile sex crime offenses to felonies punishable by life. He has tried cases up to felonies punishable by life and has been victorious. He has also successfully represented clients whose civil cases were declined by the big “bill board” attorneys in town and has successfully recovered over 1 million dollars for clients in wrongful death and other catastrophic injuries cases.

Awesome Results

I was in a deranged and burdensome situation with the wife. Her very creative shenanigans and most unbelievable allegations you have ever heard of in your life, destroyed my credibility at work and with friends, family and coworker. I mean she would cry to anyone and make you feel that she is telling... the truth. The marriage was cursed and plague from the very start, but I also have children involved and married for 14 years. I wanted a divorce. Michael was recommended highly through a friend and then I researched him. Michael has the qualities I was looking for, tenacious, eloquent, experienced and his qualification in the military with a can do attitude. I need someone with a great track record as a defense attorney. I contacted Michael and he decided to take my case and also understood what was at stake. The battle that happen in this divorce case was epic. The other side or (Dark Side) wanted everything under the sun. The dark side wanted most of my earnings and all my assets. Then Michael step in and started firing off his rebuttals. Michael’s shape insight and knowledge made him a dangerous asset. I was ecstatic that Mike was on my side. Michael was on point and precise, he came back a reduction in alimony, child support and other miscellaneous stuff. Michael also devises a plan that would cycle out of the system in a short time. The dark side was stunned and this went on for a while. But finally the dark side submitted and Michael’s demands. Thank god that this process is over now. I can finally close this chapter of my life and create a new chapter. Michael is truth a Jedi Knight, He stands on the side of truth, justice and the American way, He is and always will be my savior and my friend.

5 stars for my case

I am 44 yrs old, and in my young age, i have used many attorneys in the past. i have to say that I am not the easy person to work with, especially because i do not like attorneys. I had a divorce case, and heated wouldnt be the correct word to describe it. It was the most traumatic event in my lif...e. I had substantial property, and my ex was going after me for alimony and child support, and making things up to take the kids away from me. Unfortunately i went through a few attorneys because many would tell me and paint rosy pictures at the consultation and then when they start the case it was nothing but bad news and rising attorneys fees costs, for absoutely nothing. I found mike through thiss site, and reading his reviews and met with him. He was surprisingly straight up to me and because of my financial position we spoke up front about only doing things that we get the most bang for our buck. at the end of the day, I did not get everything i wanted from my ex wife, but no one does. In the end, I was happy with hte judges decision, and I have to say that mike was always there for me, he was passionate, respected by the judge when he made his arguments, and conducted himself as a natural in court. I couldnt ask for nothing more. THanks for the help mike.
