About Michael

Biography

Michael is a life long Florida native, born in a solid blue-collar suburb. From a young age Michael understood the value of hard work, working with his father in the construction industry. His sense of service and commitment to helping others inspired him to join the military shortly after 9/11. Michael supported combat search-and-rescue and counter-terrorism operations as a USAF airborne radio operator aboard rescue aircraft, where he learned many life lessons and values that he takes with him throughout his law practice.

Michael is a fighter who voluntarily deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, North Africa, and to disaster relief operations around the world; he was recognized as the 2005 Airman of The Year. After receiving his business degree and his securities licenses he worked for an investment bank before attending law school.

After graduating in the top ten percent of his class, Michael worked as a Prosecutor, where he learned critical trial skills in the direct and cross examination of hostile witnesses and experts. Michael expanded on this foundation by moving on to work for a top civil trial firm which represented major auto manufacturers in roll-over crashes and tire manufacturers in blow-out cases resulting in death or great bodily harm. Michael saw first-hand how the rich and powerful can use their unlimited money and resources to bury the little guy.

These experiences have seasoned Michael in making YOUR presentation of the evidence before a Judge in your case. In the family law arena, Michael has regularly stood up against the fancy high priced law firms in town and has been victorious many times. He has represented clients in complex divorces and highly contested child custody (time-sharing) cases. He has also represented clients charged from high profile sex crime offenses to felonies punishable by life. He has tried cases up to felonies punishable by life and has been victorious. He has also successfully represented clients whose civil cases were declined by the big “bill board” attorneys in town and has successfully recovered over 1 million dollars for clients in wrongful death and other catastrophic injuries cases.

Excellent legal representation and service in family matter

A pleasure to work with

Mike and his team were a pleasure to work with during an otherwise very unpleasant time for me. I needed an attorney not only to represent me through the legal process, but depend on to ensure things would go smoothly. Mike is extremely prompt, available and quick to be out for your best interest, bu...t also considerate and relatable. I feel like some attorneys might not've been able to read the room, been overly aggressive at the wrong time, but Mike navigated correspondence with opposing counsel and mediation with finesse. Definitely a hero for our family

Mike returned my call promptly and was very helpful on the phone. He also exchanged several emails and was very helpful, informative and courteous. I decided to hire him and it was amazing the way he cut through all the legal side of everything with excellent followup. He was able to resolve our c...ase quickly and smoothly to our satisfaction. Glad I found Mike- I recommend him

I was in a mess when I met mike. I was spun up by an attorney that my bondsman recommended. This attorney took all of my money and then dropped me saying he is quitting law to teach full time so I needed a new attorney. My old attorney during the shuffle managed to get two warrants put out for me ...because he didnt go to court on my behalf. I live in Canada, and got into a legal predicament when I was visiting family and selling off an investment. Long story short, Mike came in the picture and cleaned up the mess my other attorneny made, and I didnt even have to come back to Florida and waste money on airfare. Its hard being in another country and not watching over the attorney, but Mike is THE person who says what he is going to do and then DOES it. His word is gold. I am happy with everything, and he made this experience as pleasant as possible under the circumstances.
