Provided no Council
He worked for me as an attorney on a wrongful discharge case. He allowed the defense to take control of the case while taking $20,000 of my money as council. I represented this person four years ago. He was suing a government agency for withdrawing a job offer. He claimed that the job offer was withdrawn due to discrimination. When I was hired, he did not disclose to me everything about the case, which severely hampered the defense of the case. During a deposition, it was revealed that he had an undisclosed criminal charge (more than one) that was the actual basis for the job offer being withdrawn. Despite this failure to disclose, I helped negotiate a settlement for him to be paid. He did not pay me, the payment was paid out of the settlement. During the nearly two year litigation, he was unable to pay, yet I continued to represent him.
