Rasheed Karim Allen

Rasheed K. Allen, Esq. is the Managing Attorney for Allen Dawson and brings over 17 years of business and legal experience to his practice. His practice is dedicated to assisting business owners and non-profit organizations in business litigation and employment law matters. Additionally, he handles bankruptcy and debt relief matters. Mr. Allen is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Mr. Allen was an Adjunct Professor for Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where he taught courses in Legal Research, Analysis and Writing and Career Preparation.

Mr. Allen has over ten years of legal experience in the areas of business and employment law, bankruptcy law and family law matters.  Additionally, Mr. Allen has over ten years of corporate experience in a variety of business environments having worked for Fortune 100 companies and industry leaders such as Lockheed Martin, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Geico Insurance. This background includes business management, human resource management and complex business negotiations.

Mr. Allen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources, Risk Management and Insurance and Real Estate. Mr. Allen then graduated with Honors from Florida A&M University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor and was later admitted to The Florida Bar. During his time in law school, Mr. Allen interned for the United States Attorney’s office and the Heart of Florida Legal Aid and was the president of the Christian Legal Society chapter at Florida A&M University College of Law.
