A divorce with kids is one of the most grueling things anyone can walk through; let alone finding someone who will handle their future lives and do so with knowledge, compassion and most of all expertise with a lot of sass and class. Melisa's team was so hands on, very informative, very responsive wh...ich was key and did all they could to get things moving quickly, properly and in an organized fashion. I had so much anxiety at the beginning of this process and her team was always available via phone or email and I never had to sit waiting or wondering what was happening. They are on top of their game and I would refer them and have to anyone walking through what I did. These situations need people are willing to fight fairly and respectfully with class and not just a bunch of mud slinging to gain dollars. They got to the point and my divorce end to end was less than a year.

I had an initial consult and ended hiring her. I had expressed things I had felt were important and at the time she seemed to agree. Then next thing I know everything had changed and my wishes for myself and my kids were not considered. She seemed to just take the easy way out and did it her way and ...then randomly email me saying this is what I did or what we are going to do. This has made the entire divorce process that much more stressful for me. You seemed like you cared but at the end of it all it was just about charging me as much as you could and dragging the process out to keep collecting from your client . I would never hire you again nor would I ever recommend you.

I would not recommend Attorney Melisa Medina. I was looking for new attorney for my child custody case, My spouse reached out to a lawyer that He knew and was recommended to her. Decided to hire Medina after a consultation, she painted a nice picture and seemed very understanding and relating from he...r personal experience. Unfortunately that was not the case. Have fun trying to reach out to her for days and nothing when it’s pretty urgent, days later multiple emails and all you get back is That’s inappropriate. Days after that you have to call the office to set up a conference call through a assistant that isn’t well put together. Even if there’s nothing to do to a situation, I believe you should have some reasons or explanations on why you can’t act or any other options, guidance seeing they are representing you. You will not get that with Medina. Also pay attention to the billing there are multiple charges for speaking to the other counsel with no explanation on what or anything it was regarding, even when confronted about these issues she really had no explanation on any of the matters and just mentioning about a motion she was working on in the beginning and that’s all, got very defensive and tell you to go back to your previous attorney.
