After getting a DUI I consulted with Ben along with many other attorneys. I found that he is the most respectful, insightful and most importantly realistic of them all. He was easy to talk to and did not just tell me what i wanted to hear. Soon after hiring him he was able to get me into a pre-trial ...diversion program that would lessen the charges to a misdemeanor. While in the program I did something really stupid and got kicked out for violating the terms of the program. Ben and I decided to take the case to trial. He was thorough during jury selection and was able to get a very favorable jury. During trial it was apparent that he was an excellent choice. He definitely did his homework and it showed. The arresting officer was some sort of DUI specialist that had a video of the whole incident and I was certain that things would not go my way. Ben was able to destroy the officers credibility by looking at his resume (I don't know how he was able to get that), looking at his social media and drawing some important conclusions that i believe is a big part of why I was found not guilty. It also helped that he was able to get the jury to like him. In the end I was unanimously found not guilty. THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE ORDEAL, FROM CONSULTATION TO TRIAL, MR. HUTSON WAS CORDIAL, PROFESSIONAL, PUNCTUAL, AND WAS ALWAYS OPEN TO SPEAK WITH ABOUT ANY QUESTIONS COMMENTS OR CONCERNS I HAD. BEN'S WORK ETHIC SHOWED IN HOW THOROUGH HE WAS. HE GAVE ME REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS AND DID NOT SUGARCOAT ANYTHING. I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT LAW OR ANY OF THE PROCEDURES LET ALONE THE LINGO GOING INTO TO THIS.
