After graduating law school in 1994, Ben worked as a Public Defender helping those unable to afford a private lawyer. After serving for three years, Ben started in private practice, helping both individuals and businesses with civil and criminal litigation matters. Ben also frequently acts as an advisor for University of Florida students facing school disciplinary proceedings.
Ben will discuss your matter briefly with you for no fee. If he takes your case, he will personally put in the time necessary to ensure your case is handled properly. You deserve to be treated with respect and compassion during this difficult time. You deserve to have your phone calls and emails returned promptly, and to be kept apprised of developments in your case. You deserve to have a skilled and experienced advocate right at your side.

Ben married his law school sweetheart, Denise, in 1994, and they are raising their children, Colleen and Jack, in Gainesville.

Would recommend to anybody
Mr. Hutson and his staff were very professional and extremely helpful in my DUI case. They were always available when I had questions and made me feel at ease during a stressful time. Everyone was very easy to talk to and explained every legal detail in terms that I could understand.

Mr. Hutson was such a great help with this seriously flawed legal system. He is very thorough and diligent.
