We hired Mr. Porter to handle an Ineffective Counsel case for us. Unfortunately, we found HIM to be ineffective. He talked a good game when selling himself but right after we paid his fee in full, he was hard to reach; he took way too long to review documents; he did not answer e-mails or calls; wa...s not assertive enough when obtaining information from other entities or dealing with opposing counsel; we experienced delay after delay with him. He wasted our time and money and failed us on so many levels. He did not get one solitary thing that he promised us. Extremely disappointed. Would never recommend him.

My son is a college student in Jacksonville, while my wife and I live out of state. He calmed our nerves, helped us get Matt bonded out of jail, and told us what to expect as the case unfolded. Within a few days, we flew in to meet with Mr. Porter in his office. He was professional and courteous, and we felt he cared about his clients and their cases. It took about six months before Matt's case was over, but given the circumstances, the result was very good. The original charge, a felony, was reduced significantly and later sealed. I hate to say it, but Matt did do something stupid. Fortunately, we found a professional who knew how to fix it and, now, Matt's poor judgement won't keep him from the future he wants for himself. Our experience with Mr. Porter was very good and we expect yours will be the same. Highly recommend.

The best way to explain the type of attorney Jason is would be to say not typical of the stereotype. He does not over promise and returns calls personally - he never once will treat you like a case instead of a person. Wrap all that into someone who is very knowledgeable and you get Jason.
