A. Sam Jubran

I engaged Sam to represent me in a child-support matter in which I was already at a serious disadvantage: a default judgment had been entered against me because the other party had claimed I’d paid nothing—despite a prior agreement I was following—and yet the mother went to court anyway and won. At t...his point I needed someone who could come in guns blazing, fight for my rights, expose her perjury (there were multiple examples in her filings), challenge her back-pay demand, and hold the courts and the opposing side accountable. What I received instead was extremely disappointing. After spending over $6,000 for representation, what Sam did was draft a letter to the court pointing out an “error,” then wait approximately four months for the next court date. At that hearing, what happened? Sam and the judge had essentially a five-minute meeting and agreed to just lower the back-pay amount. That’s it. For all that money: one written submission, long delay, minimal advocacy, and the outcome was marginal at best. During this time the state initiated a levy on my account for over $20,000 in alleged back-pay. That resulted in every paycheck being garnished every two weeks, and I was left with literally no money — I lost my home, my car, my phone. And my attorney did nothing useful to stop that or protect me. To add insult to injury, Sam is still billing me for the remaining $500 balance to this day. I am left picking up the pieces of my life. I spent my last few thousand dollars hoping for real representation; I did not get justice, and I’m uncertain if I ever will. In short: My expectation was a zealous advocate who would fight hard for me. What I got was a process, a delay, and a disappointing result. I cannot recommend this attorney for serious, aggressive defense in high-stakes family support litigation.

Mr Jubran cost myself and my family an exuberant amount of money with little to no resolution to my child custody case. Him and opposing council kept getting the case continued for over a year, but they didn’t care, because they were getting paid. Mr Jubran made many legal mistakes and refused to adm...it them in court. He filed a motion that had incorrect information on it, and never sent it to me, before filing it. This made me look like a liar in court. All he had to do was stand up and admit that was his mistake. He refused to do so. Mr Jubran assured me that it did not hurt my case, yet every time we were in court, opposing council would use it against me! He also assured me that I would not have to keep paying him while my case was being appealed, because all other motions would be put on hold. That was a lie and he continued to send me a bill every month. Mr Jubran would act like he cared but he doesn’t care about you or your kids, he only cares about the money!

Sam was very helpful, easy to talk to ,and extremely knowledgable! I had a very difficult situation to deal with and I felt like stuck in between a rock and a hard place. He help me figure out how to handle things and keep me calm during the entire case. I would highly recommend Sam if you need someo...ne to fight for you and WIN!
