Bulldog of an attorney!

After my first attorney dropped the ball during my (ongoing) custody case, I felt so hopeless and lost. I am so incredibly thankful to find Charles Esposito! Not only did he agree to be my attorney in the middle of my ongoing case but also quickly cleaned up the mess left by my prior representation. ...Charles has worked diligently and I truly feel like he is on my side. He has been nothing short of amazing, going above and beyond to win my case. He said once to me that he was a human lie detector and it was put to test when he deposed my ex, he knew the questions to ask and after spending the last year stressing about my case- I was finally able to take a deep breath and relax after Charles was able to ask the hard-hitting questions that are needed to win. He makes him self available even when he’s out of the office when there’s an emergency and always gets back to you in a prompt manner. Only hire him if you are looking for an incredibly personable, hardworking, family man of an attorney that will go above and beyond for this clients!

I have used Chuck since 1993. Once major intrerstate custody case, two adoptions, two wills, and two probates. I am sick to read the other two reviews. They are clearly short sighted people who have no compassion. I have known Chuck for a very long time, and like everyone else, he has good and ...bad times. For me, I have used 4 other attorneys, several in St. Augustine, and while they may not ask for as much of a retainer, you want to talk about nit pick a bill!! Chuck does not do that. There are many things he does not charge for. He also does not run from your case just because you can't pay your bill every month. He works with you on payments. He may not call you back every time you want your hand held, but as a client, I don't want to pay $300 an hour to have it held either. I hire a lawyer not a wet nurse. He did everything I asked him to as long as I was able to pay for the work. Anyone else that says anything different just wants something for free and are crying because it didn't work. You get what you pay for. You want the best, pay for it! I would hire him for any and everything! I don't trust anyone else.

Admonishment issued in FL, 2003

updated on 07/16/2014

An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Charles’s comment:

“The admonshment resulted in a time where computers were just beginning to index and cataloge client files. This was a conflict of interest issue where without full disclosure from the client (which did not occur in this case) there was very little way of knowing who would be involved until after discovery began and conflict was recognized. After that while freely removing myself from the case, by expected standards, the damage had ethical violation had already occured.”
