Probate
There is nothing worse than having one of your children precede you in death. When my daughter died she wanted me to be her personal representative in the execution of her will; Wendy made the complicated process easy and seamless for me. After I was discharged as personal representative once everything was completed I found other assets belonging to my daughter and I did not hesitate to hire Wendy for a second time. I consider Wendy as my personal lawyer and always will.

Knowledgeable and Effective Attorney
I have worked with Attorney Mara on a number of occasions, hiring her to assist me to set up a living trust, write a will, create a Promissory Note and most recently to represent me during my divorce. At no time have I ever regretted choosing her to be my attorney. She puts a human face on "the Law", explaining how documents need to be set up, suggests choices, allows time to make decisions, shows compassion and understanding in emotional situations and has the patience to repeat explanations when necessary. I do not hesitate to highly recommend her.

Child Custody/Paternity
Wendy carrier herself professionally the entire length of my case. I had a bitter ending a prior engagement in which a child was born out of wedlock. I found Wendy through researching Laywers online. From the time she began the case she was very accessible, as well as more than a lawyer I felt very comfortable speaking with her even at times when we disagreed a tad bit. She was awesome, and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I got 50/50 time-sharing of my son, it was a long road but Wendy did her best to make sure it wasn't as bumpy.

Needed to update Trust and other related documents
Our experience with Wendy was refreshing compared to our prior attorney experience. Wish we had hired her to do our original Trust as the experience with her updating our documents was so helpful & productive. She informed, discussed, questioned and advised and we are relieved to have the process completed with our dignity maintained. We didn't feel overcharged and she followed up with calls and emails until the work was completed. Just recommended her to a friend looking for an attorney.

Excellent
Mrs. Mara helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. After being married for 19 years I decided to file for a divorce. She helped me every step of the way. If I had questions either she personally answered them or one of her knowledgable staff member did. I would recommend Mrs. Mara as she did an excellent job.

Performed admirably
Researched several attorneys in the Daytona/Ormond beach area and decided on Wendy based on overall reviews. My needs were twofold, one was for probate of my mother's estate and the other for my sister's estate needs. Wendy did an excellent job working through the probate issues as well as dealing with the attorney who prepared my mother's will. My sister needed a will, power of attorney, and health care proxy and she completed them meet FL requirements. The fees and work to be completed was detailed up front and there were no surprises. Overall an excellent job and I would recommend her to anyone in need of legal services that she specializes in.

Refreshing,
Coming from New York City, I've worked with many attorneys in business and non-business matters. As recent Florida reseident, my Dad who is also a former New York City resident researched multiple attorneys in mid the Florida area, and based on the results, we decided to work with Wendy. We were both pleased and relieved when we visited Wendy at her office for the first time. She was very easy to work with, gave us the necessary attention, and was quite pleasant. Moreover we discovered she was very knowledgable and transparent in her communications and processes. We trusted her and enjoyed her efficient work ethic throughout the entire process. We hope not to need too much in legal services in the future, but if we do, we certainly know who our family attorney is, and will be for years to come. Although we miss somethings about New York City, we don't miss the attorneys, thanks to Wendy :) Quite refreshing!

Great job!
Wendy got things done! When I was trying to close my late Mother's FL bank account, another FL attorney told me that since my Mother passed away in IL, I needed an IL attorney. He got nowhere with the FL bank. I called Mom's former FL attorney again and was told AGAIN that I needed an IL attorney. I contacted Wendy, had a phone consultation, she suggested how we could get the money released....And She Did It! Wendy communicates well and informed me of the process as it was happening! I will probably never need another FL attorney, but if I did, I would definitely contact Wendy Mara.

Revising our wills.
Wendy was very helpful when it came to revising our wills. She explained everything in detail that we needed to know. Wendy met with us at times that were convenient for both my husband and myself and everything was done in a very timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend her.

Wendy Mara
Wendy Mara is an excellent lawyer. She took over, from another lawyer, what seemed to be a very simple probate. My brother died and she inherited the case. As she was reviewing the case, she realized that the will had not been witnessed by all parties. This presented a huge problem with the Florida courts. Wendy never wavered. Her attention to detail was unprecedented. She was always engaged with the issues concerning the probate and never failed to stay in touch. I would highly recommend Wendy Mara for any legal advice you may have.

Excellent Outcome!
When I was served foreclosure papers on my daughter's townhouse that I had co-signed, I didn't know what to do. I called Wendy to see if she could help me out of this mess. In less than a year the townhouse was sold in a short sale. She knew the right people to contact and kept me informed as the sale went forward. I don't think the property would have sold if I had not hired a knowledgable lawyer! Thank you so much Wendy for all your help. I truly appreciate all that you did for me.
