The saying goes, "up a creek without a paddle". I was in a very desperate situation. As a last ditch effort we moved to Georgia to save what was left of our money and marriage. Not being from Georgia I had no contacts and not knowing any lawyers here no one would even look at my case unless I could at least hand over $5000 to start. The point is I didn't think I could make it another day. He is also bipolar, off his meds. Finally I found a lawyer that felt something for me. She didn't take my case but did recommend someone to me. Coastal Empire Law Group, they told me to come in the next day. I know I cried after I hung up the phone. I know I spent hours in their office that day, I couldn't believe my nightmare was over. They understood everything I had to say, I didn't have a dime to give them, and as far as I could see I wouldn't until I could sell the home, a home I paid for. They got it, I needed protection immediately from him, today not tomorrow.They went to work on my case that day. Even with my ex having mental issues they foresaw and anticipated any problems. When I decided to end my marriage, I consulted Ms. Delozier regarding the next steps to take. She was very helpful.
