Worst mistake I've ever made in my life by hiring Lloyd Dan Murray, Sr.

I hired Lloyd Dan Murray, Sr., in August of 2015 to represent me in a case in the Superior Court of Bulloch County Georgia (Conspiracy Case/Hearsay Evidence Only From Officers Whom Never Seen Me, Never Spoke To Me, Nor Never Arrested Me). This was the worst mistake I've ever made in my life by hirin...g Lloyd D. Murray Sr. He is unprofessional and lazy! I advise you not to hire this attorney. He will sell you a dream just to get your "green guys"; that is what he refers to money as. His fees are extremely high ($20,000). He only wants your money. He will not investigate your case and he basically will free style your case without doing nor hiring any investigators. Don't let him nor his staff trick you with their tricky "PLEASE". They will make you feel comfortable with their southern hospitality (charm) but that is just their trick just to get you to pay his high fee of $10,000 just to take the case/review it. They don't answer your calls when you call their office nor does Mr. Murray Sr., answer your calls on his cellphone. They also take days to respond to your voice mails, text messages and emails. I was sentence in June of 2017 to 10 years state time on one charge and a consecutive 4 years state time on another charge (14 years total) on the same indictment, after going to trial with this attorney. He explained to me when I hired him that he would represent me through trial and on appeal if it went that far. Well I am here now to tell you all that this slick attorney told me he was not going to file a notice of appeal on behalf of me. So I had to call the Bulloch County Courthouse twice a week to make sure that my case did not get time barred from filing that notice. I was also forced to file a pro se notice of appeal since Lloyd D. Murray Sr., specifically told me he was "not" going to file a notice of appeal for me. After I begged Lloyd D. Murray Sr., to please file my notice of appeal, out of the blue he filed a notice of appeal on the next to last day before the 30 day time frame was up. Then he withdrew my appeal the next month. So I had to hire another law firm ($15,000), because Mr. Murray told me in a text message that he was no longer handling appeals and that he was cutting back on his practice. Now I received a letter from the Court of Appeals of Georgia in January of 2021 stating: My appeal was dismissed. Basically when Lloyd D. Murray Sr., withdrew my notice of appeal, that forced the Court of Appeals of Georgia to not have jurisdiction over my case. Mr. Murray did this to me out of spite/hate. I never asked him to withdraw my notice of appeal. If you all need proof of anything I've shared with you in the above paragraph, I can provide you all with documents, money receipts, texts messages, and emails. Please feel free to contact me via email at [email protected] for further information.

Great at what he does

Using Lloyd currently for the 3rd time. So far he has got me the best possible outcome. I plan on continuing the use of his services.

Excellent

Lloyd represented me during my divorce. He went above and beyond to explain everything . Lloyd has been practicing law long enough to know the ends and outs of it all. As bad as divorce can be , I was extremely pleased with him and his entire office staff. I will use him for anything I need in the fu...ture.

Overrated

Met to discuss case pending ! No Charge His assitance sent a letter to the Atlanta Review Board appelling charge I provide all postage for this transaction. Cancelled his services after leaving a deposit and the office charged me $500.00 for that letter. I requested numerous times for an itemized... bill which i have yet to recieve, over 60 days. Poor response time.
