Awesome Attorney!!!!

Sam Thomas is MY Lawyer

Last year I moved a county away from my daughter's father that in turn lead to a custody battle. After 6 years of having my daughter with me every day and coparenting with her father (6 years of being divorced), I was facing the fear of having her taken from me. Being a single mother, with a new job and living in a new county I had very little resources. I found Sam Thomas through a local search and had a very insightful consultation with him. He worked with my income situation, broke down the legal terminology with me and walked me step by step through the process. The process lasted over a year but Mr. Thomas remained patient, active and kept clear communication with me throughout it all. I feel that on a professional level, Mr. Thomas is a humble, caring man who will provide you with and be the resources you need. I am proud to say he represented me. I am also happy to say my beautiful 8 year old loves her "new" school and all of the time she spends snuggling with me and going on adventures with me in our new home town. I still call Sam "my lawyer" even though I no longer have an open case and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for an affordable, dependable lawyer.

A life-long resident of Athens, Georgia, Samuel E. Thomas is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Political Science. He is also a 2012 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa. He was admitted into the practice of law in June of 2013. Samuel E. Thomas is a fourth-generation small business owner in the Athens, Georgia area. He is admitted to all State and Superior Courts throughout the state of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Samuel E. Thomas is the current Chair of the Child Support Committee of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association and the former Co-Chair of the Law Practice Committee of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is also the Vice-Chair of the Solo/Small Firm of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association.

Amazing divorce lawyer!

Sam is an amazing divorce lawyer. He not only helped me with the paperwork, but he added in anything that I thought was important. He's very kind and patient with you through the whole process. Couldn't Ask for Better

I don't think there are enough stars to give Sam and his team honestly. He's is amazing. I went through a rough and hard child battle and Sam was there every step of the way. He answered every phone call , every question myself or my family had , and every email I sent I got an immediate response to . I was updated every step of the way no matter what from start to finish . My case wasn't easy and Sam didn't turn away . I would recommend him 100% to anyone looking for a family lawyer . Divorce

Knowledge is Power

I hired Mr Thomas back in 2017. He represented me in a nasty divorce case that had several contempt of court motions etc. I was taken to the cleaners so to speak. He did countless of hours of additional work without ever seeking additional funds because he wanted justice. When my case ended and after 18 months my child’s mother decided she no longer wanted the kids I tried on my own to get the case transferred. After being told No by the judge. I went back to Mr Thomas to get my case transferred to South Carolina. He was able to get the judge to relinquish my case and get it transferred using case law which is why I title this review knowledge is power. I highway recommend Mr Thomas to anyone who is in a divorce case or child custody case. This retainers are fair, he will go beyond and treat you fair. He will not nickel and dime you.

Powerful

Great divorce lawyer

I would recommend Mr thomas to anyone , I had never been through a divorce before , and he made everything super simple , I got everything I asked for and then some. He was very active if I needed an answer he got it the same day, always returned my calls and never had to second guess anything he did.
