John Stephen Mixon Jr.

Attorney Mixon is so Awesome! He is professional, patient, personable, passionate and very knowledgeable about employment law. He was concerned with me winning my case, but he was also concerned for me as a person. With a fast outcome, he won my case and I am beyond satisfied! I can't say enough good... things about him and I recommend him no reservations at all!

I called to inquire about a consultation. The woman who answered the phone sounded like she was chewing on something. She said they couldn't help me before I even had a chance to explain what happened, which very clearly falls in their wheelhouse. I practically had to beg her to fill out an intake fo...rm, only to be told they still couldn't help me. I asked why so I could reach out to someone who could help me. Once again I practically had to beg for an answer. After a long hold, she told me because my former employer is located out of state they couldn't help. I understand that, but she handled the call so poorly. I've heard good things about Steve. It's a shame that he would allow such unprofessional behavior to be displayed when someone calls in. In addition, he could be losing business because she (the receptionist, I assume) tries to reject clients without knowing the facts.

It was such a joy working with Mr. Mixon and his team. His staff is caring and dependable. They kept me informed of everything pertaining to my case, and I realized very quickly that I was in good hands. I felt like a good friend or neighbor, less like a client. I mostly appreciate how greatly ...in tune Mr. Mixon was always with the facts of my case. His attention is so focused, he makes you forget he has tons of other cases to handle.
