The process of modification of child custody is long and hard. Rachel jumped in and took over my case which turned out to be multiple cases, for a very reasonable rate especially for her many years experience. Being inexperienced with attorneys at the time I retained Rachel, I had no idea how muc...h experience and knowledge Rachel gives to her clients. I wasn't an easy client and she answered my ridiculous emails and calls in such a timely manner. She looks out for the best interest of her clients. She is not in family law for the money. She is passionate about her work and cares about what is right. Too many family attorneys are in this nasty business for the wrong reasons. They ruin lives and families all for money. Not Rachel! Rachel truly cares for the right reasons. If you are going through a child custody modification you have to realize it takes time and it isn't anyone's fault. I was naive and thought she should have been able to get me in front of a judge the next day. I got frustrated and was very emotional. Foolishly I retained a different legal group. The worst decision of my life. If I wasn't so emotional and knew what the other attorneys were like, I would have known that I was a fool. When I did tell her I didn't want her representation any more. She was kind and helpful. She is a great person and a great attorney. She is very experienced and it shows. You can not do this process without some one who specializes in what she does. She looks out for your best interest. During a horrible time in my life, she was quick to respond, very professional about my ridiculous emails, and just truly amazing. Rachel was my divorce attorney. I have two children and feared a complicated split from my husband. We had recently moved to GA when we decided to separate and had to wait six months before we could file. She was there to handle issues that arose during the interim period and handled everything once ...we did file. She put my mind at ease by explaining the laws and how things would play out. During mediation she stopped me before I agreed to things that I hadn't thought through thoroughly. She was also there for me as a person and was warm and compassionate! I definitely felt like she genuinely cared for my (and my children's) well being! I'm hoping I never need her services again but if I do, she's the only one I would go to!

We are currently involved in a third party child custody suit and Rachel Elovitz is our attorney. She is very kind and helpful and she helps us stay on point when we stray of course. These type cases are truly stressful but Rachel always comes through as does a great athletic coach by lifting us up... when the game is close. She is a real firecracker full of enthusiasm and knowledge of these type cases and we are feeling more and more confident in the outcome as we go through the many phases necessary to reach our goal. We are also reminded of the feelings of the child and how we must also refrain from making harsh remarks about the other party and concentrate our efforts in making this little one know that we ALL love her more than anything. Rachel is very prompt, courteous and professional and she makes sure that we are up to par with the conversations between her and the other attorney. She exudes confidence in her plan of action and she always keeps us fully informed of what comes next and how to proceed. Rachel is a very smart attorney and she can help you to choose a right way to deal with your divorce. This is the key point to avoid making your divorce nasty. I really didn't know what to expect when I ...first met Rachel given she was the second attorney I hired to represent my case. I like many of you were online searching through reviews trying to find that one thing that would convince me to say "this is my Lawyer". I was always sceptical about online reviews because how do you know they are authentic? Well I assure you I am a real person who just went through a custody nightmare. I strolled into Rachel's office one afternoon with a stack of Paperwork the size of two phone books palms sweating, with tired eyes from sleep deprivation. In less than 5 minutes Rachel sorted through my paperwork like a counterfeit bill detector throwing the junk to the side and digging out the important things. Rachel gave me straight forward answers and stern advice that was sometimes hard to swallow but made sense in the end. Custody and Divorce is an emotionally delicate surface. Sometimes we tend to want people to just take our sides and not give us the unbiased truth. Rachel is going to tell you the truth, it may hurt but this is what you want in an attorney. I myself like many of you especially fathers didn't have a clue about Georgia law as it relates to parental rights. First of all let me back up and say this "If you Love your kids and there is no possible way to work things out; HIRE A GOOD ATTORNEY. Please dont make the mistake I did. Over 2 years ago I hired a rookie attorney who made a lot of rookie mistakes. After he collected his retainer he no longer treated my case as a priority. This Guy screwed me from mediation, up until my temporary hearing.(Excuse my expression but you've all heard worse) I was devastated, out of money and out of options. I had completely lost faith in anyone who even called them self a Lawyer. My ex wife Alienated me and disappeared with my 5 year old son for two years without notifying me of his or her whereabouts. Rachel saved the day, within a week after taking over my case she located them and arranged temporary visitation. Rachel is very detail oriented, and thorough. With a warm smile and fierce eyes Rachel is a true champion. She navigated me through the court process and even smoothed over opposing counsel who before then was a real Meany..grrr!! Rachel advised me with compassion and creatively put together a plan of action that worked out beautifully. Unfortunately my case went to court but I can happily say that I now have Joint Physical, and Legal custody of my son. :.....)
