Michelle Lucille Wein

Michelle L. Wein is a senior associate at Cohan Law Group, an employment law and business disputes firm in Atlanta, Georgia.

Whether counseling business owners on everyday management issues or litigating complex cases, Michelle is passionate about representing employers and employees in Georgia. She has extensive experience assisting individuals and businesses with issues unique to the employment law field, including litigating wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, retaliation, non-compete agreements, and violations of the ADA, FMLA, ADEA, and Title VII in state, federal, and administrative forums. Additionally, Michelle has helped businesses navigate the legal landscape of these complex employment laws via management training and counseling on HR best practices. Having represented both employees and employers, Michelle has unique insight with respect to the legal strategies at play on both sides of the table.

Outside of her employment law practice, Michelle also assists individuals, businesses, and business owners with business disputes such as breach of contract, fraud, and misappropriation of trade secrets. From negotiating and drafting commercial contracts to defending claims in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts, Michelle zealously advocates on behalf of her clients and takes pride in rising to the challenges presented by complex cases.

Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University, where she was actively involved in various social, academic, and philanthropic organizations. Michelle received her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law, cum laude.
