Many thanks to Mr. Shaun Southworth and Ms. Terina Williams concerning their representation of me in my whistleblower retaliation case against the US Army! I hired Mr. Southworth in November of 2013 after very significant actions were taken against me as a GS civilian employed at Fort Hood. (The case finally went to settlement in May of 2017.) As a former law enforcement officer, I am well-acquainted with the adversarial nature of litigation. Of course, any litigation can be an emotional rollercoaster and this was no exception but, through it all, this law firm was professional, supportive, understanding, and more than fair in their dealings with me as their client. In short, Mr. Southworth and his associates exceeded my expectations. I hired this out-of-state law firm specifically due to my concern about politics in-state: Within months of me hiring the firm, Mr. Southworth was named “Employee Rights Attorney of the Year in Georgia” (2014) by Corporate INTL Magazine. I knew then that I had made the correct decision. I can personally attest to this being an award of which he was most deserving.
I would definitely recommend Mr. Southworth’s law firm for those who find themselves facing punitive actions in the workplace for doing the right thing.

My supervisor and I had a delicate yet persistent discord that influenced my job satisfaction and overall well-being. Shaun counseled me on ways to move forward, and was able to help negotiate a change in supervisor on my behalf. I am much happier with the new supervisory structure and could not thank Shaun enough for his efforts. Highly recommended!

I could not be more pleased with Southworth PC. From the initial contact Mr. Shaun Southworth was attentive to the matter. Ms. Terina Williams did a great job handling the case from start to finish. Ms. Williams did an excellent job at becoming knowledgeable with the case, weighing all options and discovering what the best outcome for me as a client would be. There is nothing I can say I wasn't prepared for. I was always informed on pertinent information and upcoming matter. The fact that Ms. Williams would brief me on upcoming potentials and on what to except next helped my anxiety and prepared me. Though it took some time to resolve I always felt that the case was still an important matter and was able to get updates at any time or any questions/ concerns answered in a timely matter. Overall I was very pleased with the outcome. Southworth PC is a reputable firm I would recommend.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
Mr. Southworth is not only a skilled negotiator and a master of the law, he is compassionate and has a true connection with his clients. I had the pleasure of working with him at his former firm and I would strongly recommend him for any employment or labor related matter. He is a true advocate and has a passion for his work. You will not find a more committed and determined representative. In short, Mr. Southworth is very good at what he does and I'm happy that I had the pleasure of working with him.
