Kimberly is the best of the best attorney you can hire for her areas of expertise. She is a fantastic attorney who is by and large the best person for anything you require her services for. She went above and beyond the stratosphere with the length of which she goes for her clients and is genuine as ...well as being very intelligent and diligent in all avenues of her profession. Hire her for her areas of expertise and you definitely cannot go wrong with that, or her.

When I was incarcerated, my family was in a panic and sought out someone to represent me in my case. They chose to go through Lawson & Berry and Kimberly Berry was the one to represent me. She fought diligently to get a bond set for my case after I was denied the first time. When the bond was set and... I was released, she maintained contact with me on a weekly basis for two and an half years, even though her schedule was busy. She made sure I was notified on any court dates, hearings, and changes in the case. She made time to talk to me about the case and would even ask about my mental health when it came to this case. She is a lawyer that cares, and one that will fight for you too. She took my case to trial twice and was able to get a non guilty verdict on both charges and is the reason I am able to post this review today. In all honesty, I never thought I would "need" a criminal defense attorney. But, the harsh reality is that sometimes, you do. Kimberly makes the process less painful. She provides thoughtful guidance and she explains things in a way that just makes sense. It can get very overwhelming, but after m...eeting Kimberly for the first time, I knew I was in good hands-- and I was. She was so accessible. Any time day or night (and while I am embarrassed to admit it, I texted her late at night more than once and she responded with care). She made me feel like my case was her number one priority-- although I am confident she is juggling at least 300 balls in the air at any one time. Words can't describe the gratitude I have for Kimberly and her team. I was arrested during the summer 2016 and was charged with DUI and driving on a suspended license. Both charges had no real ground or evidence but I still had to deal with it head-on. I fond Kimberly online and she had great reviews.... For some reason, I had a gut feeling that this is the perfect lawyer for my particular situation. Over a 2 year period, Kimberly and her assistant Tara were always available any time had questions regarding my case day or night. If I couldn't reach her, I will get a call back from either her or Tara within 48 hours or less. She always kept me informed about any updates that were happening during my case, and I never missed work until I had to go to trial. Even when the prosecution presented a plea that we both believe unfair. Kimberly suggested that we fight this. Even though I was a little hesitated of results if we would lose. I'm glad I put my faith in Kimberly because she went over and beyond to make sure justice was served on my behalf. During the trial, she has this great charismatic personality but was a bulldog against the prosecution. Her demeanor and delivery demonstrated that she really cared about my well-being and made me feel comfortable that I was in good hands. After a long fought trial we came out victorious! DUI and Suspended license were both thrown out and I just had to pay a minor speeding ticket. 5 stars are not enough to describe Kimberly and her team, she deserves 10 stars! I was arrested for DUI in early 2016 under very peculiar circumstances. After spending the night in Gwinnett County jail, I came across Kimberly's listing here on Avvo by way of Richard Lawson. After speaking with Richard and hearing the fee schedule for his firm, I opted to have Kimberly take my cas...e. It was the best legal decision I ever made. From the outset, Kimberly was caring and thorough. Although she is extremely busy (and now I see exactly why, because she's so great), she would return my messages within 24 hours or less, either personally, through co-counsel, or paralegal. I had her cell phone number and email. She was honest in the assessment of my case, believed in our facts from the outset, talked me through the strengths and deficiencies of the prosecutions evidence, and was eager to pursue my case in court if a reasonable plea was not extended. It wasn't until moments before I was set to go to into the courtroom for a jury trial that the prosecution offered up a reckless driving plea, which I gladly accepted to avoid dragging things out even further (remember, it was almost two years getting to this point). If a plea would not have been offered, I feel confident in the defense and preparation that Kimberly had assembled and felt great knowing that even though should could not guarantee a win that she was confident she could eat the prosecution's case and witnesses alive. I honestly think she may have been crestfallen to NOT take my case to trial because of how strongly she believed in our facts. Do not let her easy demeanor fool you -- this woman is a bulldog who will fight for you and sincerely cares about your well-being throughout the process. Even if we had gone to trial and lost, I would still be on here giving Kimberly a glowing review. I never had to miss work up until the week of my jury trial; she always kept me informed about what was happening during the process; why she recommended making certain procedural decisions; and even met with me on a Sunday to prepare one last time for our jury trial on Monday. There are other more expensive DUI attorneys out there, and unfortunately, I know of too many people who paid for the costliest DUI attorney they could find and ultimately ended up disappointed about lack of access and understanding what was happening with their trial. Hire Kimberly. You will not be disappointed. She is easily worth twice as much as her going rate. I will never be in trouble with the law again, but if something crazy happens like it did with my bizarre DUI arrest, she will be the first attorney I call.
