Let’s me just first off just say how great Kevin was on my case. He was exactly who I was looking to work with. He is very easy to work with and very organized. So in my case, I was charged with DUI and this is how it started. I was stopped for Failure to Maintain Lane soon after a Friday dinner around 10pm and was charged with Driving Under the Influence. The arresting officer was very difficult to deal with especially of my anxiety disorder. I felt as he was rude and demanding. I am very sensitive to how people talk to me or act upon me especially male because of my former partner. I still suffer from anxiety and used to be diagnosed with PTSD and was on medication. I could not blow the breathalyzer because I started to hyperventilate and had a panic attack. However, the officer thought I was joking on him and just trying to get off the hook. So he noted “non-verbal denial” and put me in Doraville city jail. I was not able to get out from my cell for over 12 hours due to system difficulties on their computers. After I bailed myself out, I realized how big of a trouble I am in and this could be life-threatening to me because I am a successful young professional who works for a very large corporation. I thought this could ruin my career. After getting home, I immediately searched up on the internet who can help me with this case. Then I ran into the name “Richard Lawson” and was impressed with how high his reviews were. To be honest, the price was higher than others, but the reviews were equivalently higher than others so I gave him a call. He connected me with Kevin, who is under his team. I then explain what had happened in the last 24 hours. He was very calm and comforted me. I then also read his reviews and they were as good as Richard’s and I felt like I was in great hands. But first, we were told by the prosecutor that my DUI would not be reduced to the lesser charge of Reckless driving, however the case of only solved because Kevin did not back down at all. In a matter of a few weeks after we were told the bad news, he met with the prosecutor again and also the arresting officer, then received their agreement to reduce the DUI to reckless driving. I cannot tell you how relieved I was and how thankful I was with this result. I was impressed with how fast the case closed, because I had finished all the tasks beforehand as Kevin suggested, I now have my license back and with no probation time. This was one of my best choices ironically after one of my worst choices in life. I could not have gone through this ordeal alone AT ALL. I am so glad I had Kevin on my side fighting for me and for my future. He is so compassionate, a great listener, a great negotiator, and a great attorney. He knows what he is doing and it is worth the price for sure. What a good deal to have a bright future back in line for me. I take this as a warning and a lesson. Kevin was very straightforward and helpful before, during, and after my court date. It is evident that he knows his stuff and is looking out for his client's best interest. He made sure I was prepared, achieved a great outcome (speeding ticket reduced, no points, minimum fine), and in this case he wa...s even able to appear in court my absence (I had obligations in another city). Our son was involved in an accident and was charged with Following Too Closely, Improper Lane Change, Failure to Maintain Lane, Reckless Driving, He is only 17 years old and these charges could suspend his license to drive.
