Kevin was a fantastic lawyer from minute 1. I was not expecting the level of service that I received, and being an analytical person, I am very hard to please. Whenever I needed Kevin or had a question, Kevin responded back to me immediately via text, phone or email. Not his secretary, but Kevin. ... I rarely ever post comments to recommend people, but I am compelled to for Kevin because he was everything I could have every asked for in an attorney. I had been arrested for a DUI. The case was very difficult, intricate, and was seemingly without hope, but Kevin was able to get the charges drastic...ally reduced. Kevin answered all of my questions and quite often went above-and-beyond the high expectations I had. He was very attentive and would promptly respond to all correspondences. Kevin’s abilities were apparent to me in our interactions, but they were reaffirmed when after pleading out, the prosecutor came over and told me “I did a good job hiring Kevin. In March I was arrested while driving on a suspended license (from a DUI last year which I faced unrepresented) and charged with a second DUI. This arrest was a violation of my probation and I was taken into custody to wait a month for trial. The evening that my uncle contacted Kevin's office Kevin ...drove out to the jail to meet with me at 9:30pm. He was already well informed about my case and was very professional, but very personable. Two days later he contacted my family to inform them that he had moved my court date two weeks closer, and he worked with them to have an alcohol treatment plan ready to present when we went to court. He also contacted my probation officer to explain our goals to her. Kevin again came to the jail to meet with me and explain what he expected in court. He thoroughly investigated every detail I could give him about my arrest and worked an investigator to understand every aspect of the arrest, every word spoken by the officers. In court Mr. Fisher successfully presented the case for treatment and I was released from custody with no additional fees. By the time I completed 28 days of in-patient treatment Kevin had all the information I needed to be prepared for the coming court date for the new charges of driving on a suspended license and 2nd in 5 DUI. He explained exactly what I needed to do to satisfy the court before arraignment, including attend DUI school, get a drug and alcohol evaluation, and do community service. Kevin also contacted the county and had my court date moved so that we would be before a judge that he was familiar with and a solicitor that he had worked with previously. In the months before court I had a lot of questions about DUI school qualifications and community service specifics. When we went to court Kevin had prepared me so thoroughly (both in terms of the work I had done to please the court and mentally for comfort and conversation) that we were before the judge for only a few minutes. We pleaded no contest to driving on suspended license and the DUI charge was dropped to reckless driving, for which I was sentenced to 12 months probation with NO JAIL TIME and no additional community service or stipulations! Over all I was incredibly pleased with the result and with Kevin's representation. He got me out of jail and kept me out, and made me more comfortable during the proceedings than I imagined I'd be able to be. He was always available and responsive, and I will definitely contact him next time I need representation!
