I expected an ego in a Brooks Brothers suit. Instead I met a gentleman who greeted me with kindness and empathy. Joe was professional and did what he said he'd do, even though I was in doubt. He also surprised me in court with his regard and respect for everyone he dealt with. While my case wasn'...t newsworthy, it was important enough to me and I couldn't be happier, given the circumstances of my difficulties. I'll add that he's a man you could easily call a friend.

I was sitting in Fulton county jail on rice st, charged with trafficking heroin and marijuana. I was facing a minimum of 10 years in prison. I felt hopeless. This wasn’t my first time getting in trouble with the law, and considering my history with prior drug offenses, I felt like my luck had ran out... and I was in serious trouble this time. Of course, I was denied bond at my first appearance. I expected that and was contemplating on what can be done at this point. On my very last run in with the law, I had served 18 months for a simple possession of weed and cocaine. Feeling hopeless and desperate, I asked my girlfriend, Jess, to find a lawyer for me, regardless of cost. That’s when my friend Daniel introduced us to Mr. Joe Habachy. This man is amazing. Words can’t describe what this man has accomplished on my behalf. He was confident every step of the way and assured me of exactly what will happen. At the end of it all, joe got my charge dropped from trafficking to possession with intent, which is a HUGE difference by the way, AND got me a signature bond, which allowed me to skip the $60,000+ bond and just sign myself out of jail for free! He did what he could to get me out of a tight situation and now it’s my job to keep myself out of prison by continuing to go to my drug classes. Forgot to mention, probation to be terminated upon completion of the 18 month program at Georgia Recovery Center!! What????? That’s unheard of!! Joe, Mr. Habachy, you are freaking awesome man. God bless you. If anybody is in a tough situation, don’t even waste your time calling anyone else. Just call Joe.

First off I'd like to start off with Joe is an amazing attorney who knows his stuff! I was charged with a serious felony where the prosecutor originally charged me for trafficking THC cartridges and arrested me couple of week before Thanksgiving 2017. I thought I was just going in the books and comin...g right out. But unfortunately they gave me no bond in the first appearance. I was stressed and in disbelief as to why I wasn't granted bond for a first time offender and the fact that the prosecutor never found anything on me. He arrested me based off a text message between another party that was arrested with the drugs and released immediately with bond within 24 hours. I contacted Joe while I was inside and he confidently told me to hang in there and that he would have me out before the holiday. I honestly did not have faith as we all know the everyone is on vacation mode and would drag everything out. 8 days later I was surprisingly granted bond just as Joe said! I was able to spend time with my family and friends for Thanksgiving! After the holidays, we then discussed how this case would go as we both knew the prosecutor was being really difficult and unreasonable for a first time offender. He changed my charges from trafficing to now sales of controlled substance. Joe was once again confident and knew this was an absurd charge. He stuck by my side for 2 years battling with the prosecutor and reminding me that he has this under control. But of course with human nature, I was always stressed and worried with the what ifs. 13 days before Christmas I get an email from Joe saying Merry Christmas and that my case got DROPPED with the dismissal letter! In disbelief and lost of words, I don't know how much I could thank Joe Habachy for his knowledge, professionalism, confidence, and most importantly giving me my life back for a second chance with my newly born daughter. I highly recommend Joe Habachy to represent you as your attorney.

2018. A combination of bad judgement, bad timing and bad luck found my partner and me out of state facing a handful of Class A felonies. Specifically , in my case, Posession with Intent of Schedule 1, Schedule 2 and Meth > 30 oz. Every lawyer I called told me the BEST case I was looking at was a plea... down to 12 years (Sorry, 15 with the firearm) and most simply refused to even hear what I had to say or openly scoffed my claims of innocence. Things were looking pretty grim for the Atlanta boys till a friend put us in touch with Mr Habachy. For the first time, we got to explain what exactly happened, gave him all the information to work with and stepped back. I would love to say I had anything to do with the fact that I am a free man today, but Mr Habachy's technical expertise, his understanding of not only the law, but the complexities of the legal system around the law, and the perserverance of he and his team turned 15-38 years of hard time into 12 months of unsupervised out-of-state probation, a stern talking-to from the judge (for real) and some hella fines. Even better, my record shows 2 misdemeanors which wil be expunged after probation is done. I am a free man today because of Mr Habachy, and simply cannot recommend him in any stronger terms. If you absolutely MUST have the very best defense attorney that Atlanta has to offer, if you value your freedom above all else, and if you need it done right the first time, get yor sh*t in order and call Joe Habachy

Joe provided me with outstanding representation, serious attention to detail and respect and transparency throughout my situation. From our first meeting until after my sentencing, I knew that I had someone in my corner that was looking out for their clients best interest.
