Bryan Owens

Attorney Bryan Owens was number five. I had interviewed four other lawyers before deciding to let him represent me. The first four seemed more interested in telling me how great they were or if I could afford them. Why I chose Bryan, notice I said "chose" not settled, was the way he greeted me and ...treated me. When I entered his office he got out from behind his desk, shook hands and sat next to me. His questions were: what happened, what was I charged with and what was my explanation. A little history is in order, I have a lifelong friend who has gotten himself in trouble more than once. His advice was don't go to an attorney who asks, "Did you do it?" His reasoning is that if the attorney knows you're guilty he might not take the case or if he does he will have to compromise somewhere. Without going into detail, I didn't do what I was accused of but the circumstances were such that it didn't look good. Bryan asked a lot of probing questions at which point he thought he could help. Prior to this my only contact with the law was some speeding tickets. Bryan was easy going but highly professional; he put me at ease as I felt I was talking to a friend. It was only then we discussed fees, we agreed to get together later in the week. As soon as we sat down he laid out his strategy which made a lot of sense to me. When the case went to trail the Prosecutor pulled out all the stops to make her case. Bryan took her argument methodically apart. The trial lasted three days the jury was out less than two hours with a not guilty verdict. The prosecutor was in tears which lead me to the conclusion that the "system" is more interested in convictions than justice. To sum it up would I recommend Bryan Owens - absolutely yes and I hope I'm never in a position to ever need him or any other attorney again.

Mr Owens is God sent. After using a court appoint attorney and getting nothing accomplished , being frustated and feeling like there was NO hope for my son and he was going to be defeat by the system.
