The to go to lawyer

Good morning Justin. Let me say this to you, I wish I had met you way back before my case became messy. There is a bunch of immigration attorneys out there, and then there is you. You know your stuff and you made a difference to me and my family. I know my case is not quite done yet, but you have mo...ved mountains for me already. I surely thank you. As we move to the Naturalization phase, I have nothing but faith in you with your guidance. I know it's a matter of time and trusting the process. Finally, let me say this, if and when I run into anyone with immigration issues, I will gladly refer them to you for your opinion and help. Thanks again Justin

tremendous to work with

Justin was great for my wife and I to work with, as i was transitioning from a difficult visa situation due to a paperwork issue by an educational institution. He takes you through every step, and was with us at our interview. We will be using him again for our removal of restrictions this upco...ming summer.

Great support through a green card through family application

Justin is a very considerate and helpful attorney. He calmly guided us through an often stressful process. He answers all questions promptly. When we started the application, we were based in Atlanta. However, we moved to another neighboring State when we applied and our interview was scheduled... at that State. Justin drove 6 hours without any extra cost to represent us during the interview!

Justin Chaney is one of the BEST in the business

Attorney Justin Chaney is one of the best attorneys out there. He is amazing, honest, honorable, supportive, friendly, smart, and very dependable. Prior to hiring Justin Chaney, I was screwed by a for profit probation company, an unfair system, and a dishonorable Judge. This is not an easy fix. He...re is what happened. I had a speeding case (yes a speeding case) that turned really bad. This happened in a small, country town. I was warned about court dealings in places like this. Well, reality hit me. I was sentenced a fine plus a court fee, and a partial amount of it could be paid with community service for speeding. I didn't have the money at the time to pay for the ticket, because I had just lost my job due to car troubles, so the stand-in Judge (a Judge who was a substitute for the official Court's Judge) placed me on probation to give me time to pay the ticket off. The stand- in Judge told me that once I paid the ticket off my probation would be terminated, but the probation and the official Judge of the court didn't want to hear that this was the case when I repeatedly tried to tell them. They lied and refused to hear the truth even though it was on recording. They were rude. The probation Officer would hang up on me several times. They claimed I was supposed to continue to be on probation and continue to pay supervisor fees. This was not what I was told by the stand in Judge. It was a very bad situation because it doubled the cost of my ticket and I was not able to pay, plus my freedom was taken. Well, to make a long story short. I was due some money and ended up being able to pay the full price of the ticket, which I wanted to do to be left alone by that Judge and probation officer. But, when I paid they still told me that I had to continue to be on probation and continue to pay supervisor fees. It was not fair. I paid for my offense, but this was in a small town, and they apparently felt that they could do whatever they wanted to at my expense. I ended up getting locked up for a total of 14 days. It was a terrible time. I lost the job I had just gotten, couldn't see my daughter (she missed important tests for school), almost lost my place, etc. And I'm still trying to get back on my feet because of that horrible situation. I had anxiety attacks and had suicidal thoughts because of this. You don't play with people's lives like that. Well, even though I stayed in jail that long and paid for my offense, the Judge still continued the probation and supervisor fees at the probation revocation hearing. All the evidence was there, and she did it just because she had the power to do so and I didn't have an attorney. Once I got out of jail, I didn't know what to do. I needed an attorney but had no money. I called the Justice Department and was referred to Justin Chaney. He was a life saver. I didn't think much could be done because they were in a small town and the Judge felt she had the power to do what she wanted considering she was a Judge, but Attorney Justin handled this very well and ended up getting the probation stopped and more ( not without a fight of course). Attorney Justin Chaney really knows his stuff. I will recommend him to anybody. Not only that, he really listens and makes sure he has everything. He was very nice and personable to me and my daughter and represented me to the best of his ability. He wasn't afraid of the Judge(some attorneys are, believe it or not). He's really a fighter for justice and fairness, and I'm so appreciative of what he's done for me. I am so blessed that he was recommended to me. He really should run for President. He would definitely get my vote. Thank you Attorney Justin Chaney.

Relationship: Worked for lawyer

"Justin Chaney is my former employer, professional colleague, and personal friend. Pursuant to federal immigration law, there are potential immigration consequences for non-U.S. citizens who are charged with criminal offenses. Accordingly, if a non-U.S. Citizen is facing criminal charges, that person needs a lawyer who is highly knowledgeable and skilled in not only criminal law, but also immigration law. Justin W. Chaney is that lawyer. If you or someone you know is a non-U.S. Citizen who has been charged with a crime, give Justin a call. You'll be glad you did!"

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I had the pleasure of working with Justin on a Habeas petition. To be candid, I was in over my head. The issue was complex legally and factually, and touched on matters relating to both immigration law and Constitutional law. Justin was reliable, professional, and very sharp throughout. He also proved expert at the lost art of answering the phone and returning messages. He was Virgil guiding me through the Inferno that is our criminal and immigration law. I would jump at the opportunity to team up with Justin in the future, if such opportunity ever presents itself."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have represented many clients along with Justin that were charged with criminal offenses that also had immigration issues. Navigating such a case is different than a typical criminal case since even a small misstep can cause the client to be deported. Justin is thorough and extremely creative. He has a knack for figuring out a way to resolve cases in such a way that avoids our client's deportation and helps our client avoid the risk of trial as well. I recommend Justin without hesitation."
