So Grateful for Allen’s Guidance

Allen was outstanding in handling my GaPSC case. He was professional, responsive, and made sure I understood every step. His attention to detail and deep knowledge of PSC cases gave me confidence throughout the process. More than just a great lawyer, he was kind, patient, and supportive during a stre...ssful time. Thanks to his hard work, my case had a successful outcome. I’m truly thankful to have had him in my corner.

Compassionate and hardworking

Allen is professional and compassionate. He truly cares for his clients. I was at a loss of what to do when I found myself under an ethics investigation for something that happened over 20 years ago. I had done everything that I thought I was supposed to do, and was advised to do, prior to speaking... with Allen, and it just kept getting worse. Allen took my case and walked me through each step of the process including speaking to my employer in my behalf. First by just calming me down and letting me know that I was not alone in this. Then, he walked me step by step through everything that was going to happen. He was always a text or phone call away and made sure I was always aware of the status of my case. When the initial decision came about 6 months into the case, Allen recommended we appeal it. So, that is what we did. He made sure that I knew this appeal could take up to the years to even be heard. It took right at two years to go through, but my case was fully dismissed with no further action. When everything was all said and done, I could tell he was just as happy as I was! I can never thank him enough!

Good advice from a woman who knows!!!

When a complaint against you threatens your career, you want and need an attorney who is capable, dedicated and strives for the best possible outcome for you. Allen Lightcap is that man. He is extremely bright, has an amazing memory, works tirelessly on your behalf, keeps in constant contact through...out the case and will treat your case as if it were someone in his own family facing the ordeal. I give Allen my highest recommendation and hope you are fortunate enough to have him on your team if you ever have a need. My own case was successfully closed without the need for a hearing, and Allen has even checked in with me after the conclusion of the case! He is a people person who forms a relationship with his clients, and will work his hardest for the best possible solution.

Could Not Have Asked for a Better Attorney!

I’m a teacher who currently works in Forsyth County, but formerly worked in DeKalb for 9 years. In April of 2024, I found out that a criminal arrest warrant was taken out on me for an incident that happened at my former school in August of 2023–despite the fact that the incident was investigated by D...eKalb County Schools and resulted in my being found completely innocent of any wrongdoing and allowed to return to my position. When I found out about the warrant and upcoming scheduled hearing, I contacted PAGE (Professional Association of Georgia Educators) and they put me in touch with attorney Allen Lightcap. Mr. Lightcap was professional, thorough, caring, humble, and smart, and checked in with me almost daily in the weeks leading up to my hearing. When the time came for the hearing, I knew Allen was more than well-prepared and I was confident he would present the best possible defense for me. He explained everything that he would be doing in the hearing to help put me more at ease and was always patient with my questions and concerns. We won the case (“warrant denied!”) and I would highly recommend Allen to anyone in need of an attorney. I sincerely hope I will never need Allen’s services in the future, but if I do, I would not hesitate for one minute to have him represent me again in any legal matter necessary. The man is simply outstanding at his job!

Teacher

Allen Lightcap successfully represented me on two cases. He went above and beyond my expectations as an attorney! He cares, he wants what is right to be upheld, he is honest, he will fight for his clients as if they were his own family. Previously, I had a negative attitude towards attorneys thi...nking they were all about the money, but working with Allen changed my way of thinking. He is sincere in his concern for his clients, and fervently works to protect them. I feel so blessed to have had Allen represent me and cannot adequately express my gratitude for his incredible work. I cannot even imagine what my life would be like without Allen’s advice and support!

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I strongly endorse Allen Lightcap for his outstanding expertise in government law and litigation. We have been opposing counsel in several Georgia professional licensing cases. Allen is unfailingly professional, thoughtful, fair, and analytic about each case. While attentive to, and persuasive on, all factual details and potential legal arguments in a case, he never loses sight of either his clients’ interests or the rights of the accused—he always seeks to do justice that is right for both the individual and for the public good."
