Mr. Lightcap, represented me in a legal review to determine intent for a criminal complaint brought by a coworker. We won the case and the judge determined no criminal intent existed. I’m a teacher who currently works in Forsyth County, but formerly worked in DeKalb for 9 years. I'm a teacher and I was falsely accused of misconduct with a student. I spoke with a detective about the case and answered his questions, and then I consulted several lawyers. Many of them said worrisome things and made me feel like an idiot because I spoke to the detective at all, something I now kn...ow you shouldn't do without consulting a lawyer first.
