Biography
Doug strives to be the best both inside and outside the courtroom. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998 with a degree in Political Science and then received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. He has successfully argued motions for clients in state, federal, and appellate courts throughout the state of Georgia. In fact, Doug's appellate record is unbeaten. He works every day to plan, strategize, and prepare cases to secure the best compensation for individuals and families who are injured as the result of the carelessness of others. He now feels his successes truly make a difference and improve people's lives, which is very rewarding.
Doug is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He is also an active member of the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America) and the Georgia State Bar's Young Lawyers Division Litigation Committee. Doug is also recognized as "Top 40 Under 40" attorney. by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
When Doug is away from the office, he enjoys spending most of his time with his wife and three children going to swim meets, soccer, the zoo, baseball and football games, boating, fishing, traveling, or just hanging around the house.
