Automobile Collision

In April of 2014, my wife and daughter were involved in a serious car collision. We hired Jay Nohr to handle our case. There were several insurance companies involved so it ended up taking a little over four years to settle. Jay guided us through this long process, never giving up and was so prepa...red for our trial that the other insurance company settled the night before our trial was to begin. He had witnesses lined up, doctors ready to testify, big charts and photos blown up on poster boards. We were ready and the other side knew he was prepared. Over the years he kept us well informed, was very realistic with our case and is a very honorable man. He is not your typical lawyer, very caring and a wonderful family man. We were very pleased with him and the settlement he was able to get for us. Thanks Jay for taking such good care of us.

Highly recommend!

In June of 2017 my husband and I found ourselves engulfed in our worst nightmare. My 6 month old son had been throwing up for a week and after 4 ER visits it was determined that he had a subdural hematoma…AKA bleeding in the brain. With this diagnosis we were scared, worried, confused – we wanted t...o know how, why, what do we do??? And that is how our own personal hell began – with this diagnosis we were also being accused of harming our sweet boy and he was ripped from our arms. As a mother I felt like my heart had been ripped from my chest. I couldn’t understand why this was happening. The only information I had to go on is what the doctors filled my head with – these types of injuries only happen from abuse and that my son was lucky to be alive. I was in shock and absolutely devastated. With this knowledge I knew that they would never release him to go home from the hospital with us. In a panic I called our families and my father-in-law immediately sprang into action – and for that I am forever grateful – his quick action and with a little help from Google we found Jay. From our very first meeting with Jay I felt some relief. He explained what we were up against, what we could expect to happen – and most importantly that these types of cases happen all too often – and that despite what these doctors had led me to believe, there is in fact many different causes for my son’s diagnosis. I won’t bore you with all the gritty medical details, but finding Jay, who was extremely knowledgeable about these types of issues, was what saved our family. Throughout the 4 months that we endured this hell every step Jay took was exactly the right one. I trusted him 100% to do everything in his power to get our baby back home to us….and he did. I hate to imagine what could’ve happened to us if we had hired anyone other than Jay. He was extremely educated and informed on everything surrounding our case. He was also patient with me (a distraught mom) – which couldn’t have been an easy task. I know he must’ve been very busy – but he always made time for me and made me feel like our case was his top priority. He was everything we could’ve hoped to find in an attorney – plus more. I wish that I could give him 100 stars - a five star rating just doesn’t do him justice.

Child Abuse

Jay did a fantastic job representing our family. He left no stoned unturned, was emotionally invested, properly researched and prepared to prove the State had overlooked the real facts of our case. We always felt comfortable in Jay's hands. A true professional.

Nohr 2012 Review

Jason went above and beyond what is typically expected from an attorney. He not only kept our family well informed of his every thought but also his anticipation of what we could expect in each step of our process. Jason relates to his clients not only on a professional level but more importantly on... an emotional level. He talks in a friendly caring manner and not in legal jargon that most of us do not understand. Jason has done so much for my family that I can not thank him enough.

Giving our son his reward

Mr. Nohr made our life so much easier handling the case for our son. He always was informative and easy to get to if we had a questions. His guidance thru the 2 year process was very worth the time and energy that was put into winning the case. He did his background work and homework thru the whol...e process and when it was time to present he came out on top for our son.

"I have had the opportunity to have lengthy, in-depth conversations with Jay about personal injury suits in general, medical malpractice, and birth trauma. I have also been able to hear Jay speak at CLEs. His knowledge of the law and the medicine is second to none. Jay Nohr is one of the few lawyers who is willing to try cases to verdict, and he has had incredible results.
