A Great Divorce Lawyer!
I got divorced in 2013 and I walked out of the divorce free from any fee because we won the request to have my ex husband paid for my attorney fee. None of my ex husband's request was granted and not only that, he was the attorney who also cared for his client's emotional. He sat with me right after the mediation to help me calming down and after 5 years now, I look back and all his advice was awesome. He also took care of my will for my children and I'm recommending him to a good friend of mine filling for the divorce. I believe he will be doing the fantastic job for my friend. Thanks Mr. Prater for helping me with my divorce.

Trust the process.
Keith fought tooth and nail for my case. I never felt like I had to settle for something that wasn't what I wanted for my child. He helped me come up with a realistic plan and we were able to achieve everything he promised. I know it's extremely stressful to go through any type of divorce or custody dispute but trust the process and trust Keith.

Post Divorce Issues
After an uncontested divorce, all hell broke loose. I found my way by the grace of God to Keith Praters office summer of 2010. I was an emotional wreck with tears in my eyes. He told me to stop crying and get myself together. He was firm with me yet compassionate. I toughened up that year because of Keith. I learned how to document and I learned how to respond or not respond to the ex. Keith taught me how to be mentally and emotionally smart. It's now 2015 and we have not taken a break. He has represented me in several contempt issues, alienation and custody issues, traffic court with my daughter, and now another issue regarding property. In my opinion Keith Prater is the best lawyer around. He has fought for me thru thick and thin and on the weekend of an Alabama football game!!! Keith is the absolute best. I am truly blessed that I stumbled into that office in 2010. It changed my life!!! Keith will always be my lawyer and Keith will always be my friend. I have a motto when it comes to exes that I thought I'd share...U can't fix stupid but u can sure take them to court. Document,Document,Document!!!

Estate Planning
My Wife and I went to Mr. Prater to have our wills prepared. Mr. Prater was very professional and courteous. Being my first experience with a lawyer he was very helpful and took the time to explain everything. He even tied our wills with ribbon and sealed them with wax "the old school way" . We actually enjoyed the experience as odd as it seems. If we ever have other legal needs we will be calling on Mr. Prater again.

AN Excellent, intelligent, kind and fierce Lawyer
Mr. Keith took on my extremely complicated contested divorce two weeks before the final. He has only charged a retainer, and I have surly blown through that by now. He isn't pushing me for more money right now because he knows my situation. Which shows he cares and no just about money!!!! He has always gotten back in touch with me immediately, late at night, on the weekends. He has filed tons of stuff already, met with my witnesses, and every-time I met with him he is more and more passionate about my case, as I have been the victim of years of abuse. HE FREAKING cares..he is interesting, disciplined, and I know is going to wow the courts, as I have seen him do in the past. EVERYONE that needs a lawyer that will listen and care about your concerns, needs to call this man. Integrity and kindness, are an understatement.

Attorney who cares
Several years ago I was on the receiving end of a law suit. Having never been sued before I was not familiar with the process and was quite anxious. Keith Prater took the weight of the potential litigation off my shoulders. My case was handled swiftly and settled favorably prior to going to court. He kept me well informed throughout. Mr. Prater Got Me Justice
When I first came to Mr Prater's office, I was impressed with his knowledge of the law and the clear way he outlined my injury case and how we would proceed with it. His office kept me in the loop throughout the whole process of preparing my case and when we went to court the case he presented for me was straightforward and effective. I have used Mr Prater's services three times for different matters and he has delivered every time. I consider him my attorney and will definitely bring all my future legal matters to him. Finally, a GOOD attorney!!
After using several attorneys over the years, I finally found one that I would gladly recommend! My husband passed away unexpectantly without a will, and "surprisingly enough", the relatives came out of the woodwork to claim his estate. Keith aggressively stood up for me and my rights, not just filing all the necessary paperwork with the courts. He had the backbone to say, "Hey, wait a minute. This is his WIFE..." I had unsuccessfully employed two previous attorneys before I found Keith, and they did absolutely nothing for me. Keith fought for me. If anyone needs a GOOD attorney that will listen, please use KEITH PRATER!!

Keith has your back when you need it
I was getting thrown under the bus by a company that thought a single individual couldn't stand up to them. Kieth leveled the playing field and brought them to the negotiating table. They settled quite nicely in my favor. I would have NEVER received the settlement without Keith's tenacity and legal prowess.

Twice I have gone to Mr. Prater for issues where only a trusted and knowledgeable attorney would be able to resolve my problems. He answered my inquiries almost immediately, and I was able to meet with him within a day or so. He got down to business, asked me for precise information, and got to work. Keith is all business in the courtroom. I have post divorce issues regarding my ex not following the divorce decree and causing alienation with my daughter. He fought hard for me in court and I won every issue in the contempt case. Keith is smart, savy, firm, and was very honest and supportive. Very helpful and personable
I am an attorney in Macon, Georgia who worked with Keith in a divorce matter where I represented the Wife and he the Husband. Keith was always diligent in returning my phone calls and answering my emails in a timely matter, which is more than I can say for a lot of attorneys. That is invaluable in keeping the cost of your divorce down......an attorney who will work with the opposing counsel in a timely matter, instead of dragging things out just to bill more time.
