I can't say enough about Susan as an attorney! She is thorough and knowledgeable in many areas of law. She helped my family through a very ROUGH custody modification. When something happens that needs immediate action in the judicial system, she acts quickly and thoroughly. Not only did she repres...ent me well, she advocated and represented my minor child well in a very difficult situation. Susan Brown represented me recently is a family law case. My case wasn’t difficult but the opposing party was quite difficult. She represented me well but more importantly, she represented my minor child well. She protected his best Interest legally when I wasn’t sure exactly what ”that” looked like.... She could talk me off the proverbial ledge but also helped me with clear, non emotional approaches so that I didn’t lose sight of the end goal. I highly recommend having a conversation with her if you are experiencing anything domestic/divorce/child related.

One incident in my dealings with Susan Brown illustrates her level of integrity. I agreed to pay an additional fee of $1,000.00 if she would arrange for me to visit my son in my home over the Christmas holiday. I got an email from Brown, "I did my part. NOW WHERE'S MY MONEY!" I agreed to drive to a S...tarbucks 35 miles away to deliver the money in cash. She texted me every twenty minutes until I handed off the money. I did not see my son for a week in my home. I did not see my son at all over Christmas. Susan Brown took her own family on a holiday cruise.

I am baffled regarding some of the poor reviews written about this lawyer. I retained Susan to represent me in two separate and complex child custody actions. I have utilized multiple attorneys in the past and by far Susan has been the best. She is quite easy to get in contact with, quick to respond ...and knows her stuff. I walked into a hearing thinking the worst and Susan was able to turn my temporary hearing around in my favor when I should have been a sinking ship. She is not afraid to go to bat for you and is not only a zealous advocate but an amazing courtroom litigator. If you want to complain that your lawyer doesn't call you or email you everyday, maybe you should consider she's actually saving you money instead of billing you to respond to something not important. I highly recommend Susan to anyone in need of a family lawyer and look forward to working with her throughout the duration of my cases!
