Richard Shannon Lord

I had been out of town and had to get someone last minute to file an answer and represent me. We got it all ready and filed on time. He charged less of a fee than I was quoted by two other lawyers and kept track of his time well. He returned my phone calls and emails in a reasonable amount of tim...e if he was ever in court or out of the office. He seemed prepared when we appeared in court. He asked to meet with me prior to the hearing an additional time, we had already met more than once, but I could not get off from work another day. The case turned out ok and when we were at court he showed me and gave me copies of the law as I had asked for.

I hired Mr. Lord and though he had a very rough way of talking and discussing my case I hired him. Throughout my case he was neglectful, did not follow up with me or the opposing attorney. Routinely, sent things to me at the last minute, which caused me to rush around to complete a task he should h...ave given me ample time to complete. He was often rude, and did little to ease my fears. He also did not do much for my case. He left many things unfinished and I was left misinformed. He is not very knowledgeable and truly behaves like he does not take pride in his work or representing a client. I would never hire him again and warn all that I know to do the same.
