In February 2014 my EX and I filed for a divorce, He decided he wanted to fight me for full custody so that meant finding lawyers. I started with Daniel M Barns the case went on for over a year he took my money and did absolutely nothing to help me and my case move a long. Then with no warring at al...l he just dropped my case in march of 2015 because of to much interference from family members as he put it . Quitting was the best thing he did for my case because then I found Diane that was the best thing for my case .. I went in and met with Diane she was really concerned with the amount of time this had been going on with so little that had been done.. She was very straight forward got right to the point and told me exactly what needed to be done in order to win custody of my three kids.. I was given Diane's name by a friend who recommended her and I was strongly encouraged to call her prior to filing for divorce. From the moment I met Diane, I felt a peace and knew she would do whatever she needed to do to help me out. There are not enough words and kudos for this attorney! I was in a terrible two year divorce from 2006 until 2008. The harassment did not stop at the conclusion of the divorce as my ex-husband made it his mission to start building a frivolous child custody case that also included many items from ...the divorce where he basically wanted a, “do over.” He filed his case July 1, 2009 and I obtained an attorney. I informed the attorney up front that I could not physically, mentally nor financially afford another 2 year court battle. (Being that I have a fairly good understanding of the law and process, I prepare a lot of the work myself and it is very organized.) However, as of September, 2011 the case was still not settled and the attorney had not even filed my answer to his motion. I was given Dee’s contact information, told she is feisty and takes nothing from male attorneys that think they are going to intimidate her. I retained Dee on September 15, 2011. She was furious at how things had progressed. She immediately filed a motion to dismiss and brief in support, had the case in court on December 12, 2011 and mopped the floor!!! This was a difficult case because my ex is extremely difficult and unreasonable to deal with. Dee had no problem picking up a case that was a mess a quickly turning it around. She has continued to stay in contact and recently represented me on contempt issues from the December 12, 2011 case. My ex is currently incarcerated as a result of the latest case. I always recommend Dee to anyone needing legal counsel. She will treat you fair and fight hard to win your case.

Diane Sternlieb handled my divorce years ago when my son was a month old. My husband bacame mixed up in drugs & it was not healthy for my son & I to stay in the situation. Diane completely kept him from having any access to the child period. Fast forward 5 years & I remarried & my husband who had r...aised my son as his own decided he wanted to adopt him. We went to Diane again who started the process & the biological father who had never paid nor seen his son in all this time decides he now wants to come around & not allow the adoption. We were devastated, but Diane came in & saved my sons life again. It took quite a long time to go through the process of the courts, but she kept me in the loop about what was happening & any changes in the case & would calm me down each time I would call crying or upset over the situation. She worked so hard on this case & after 2 years (because of an appeal) we finally won. My son has his daddy who he has always known & our family is whole. She saved my sons life over & over these last 5 years & always had his best interest as her priority. I would (& have) recommend her to absoutely anyone. She is our families Angel & I will forever be grateful for her. There were times when I had lost all hope in the world. I was a hardened person & let nobody in. Diane & her friendship through this made me see there is still good in this world & there is hope for families who are just trying to love & raise their children in the most healthy & safe environment possible. If you want an attorney to give you 150% of their time & effort, then you must use Diane. All of her cases she takes are high priority to her & she will give each & every person who walks through her door the best that anyone could ever expect. I could keep listing all of the wonderful things she has given back to my family, but am not allowed that much space.
