Very disappointed with Chip Thurston and our dental malpractice case. It appears that if the defendant does not wish to settle, then Chip is not interested in proceeding to court. But you would not know that as he will not contact you until a few weeks before the statute of limitations is to expire. ...I had to contact him as to the status and by then no other lawyer would take the case because of this statute. Now I understand the term 'ambulance chaser'. Look elsewhere and stay up to date on your case.

My wife and I hired "Chip" to represent us in a Dental Malpractice case where Dr. Whitaker of Fort Valley, Ga. had pulled the wrong tooth, shoved it back in for two days and then confessed. After a hiring Chip Thurston, we waited, waited and more waiting. Numerous emails and telephone calls went unas...wered. This went on over a two year period. Complete and total lack of communication with the client. In the final hours, he allowed the statute of limitations to run, so, because of his malpractice, we lost the dental malpractice case. It was too late to find another lawyer. Even then, after we told him the statute was about to run weeks later his answer was we still had time. Apparently, he does not own a calendar. Two years, nothing but incompetence and arrogance. Do not hire this guy, what ever you do.
