My wife had an accident, and it involved a large semi-truck changing lanes into my wife's car. She initially hired another attorney, but we only got to see their "office manager" and not the attorney. She went through several treatments but was not getting better. The first thing he did was meet with us personally and talked to us to get the entire story, which was different from the previous attorney. He asked about my wife's injuries and the pain she was suffering from and suggested an orthopedic surgeon. Turned out she needed a small in-house procedure to help alleviate her pains, which was not an option with the previous attorney. He was always attentive to how my wife was feeling and checked in as often as he could, along with his legal aid. He was also not going to settle with the trucking company or the insurance unless my wife was feeling better. After 2 years after the initial accident, we received a settlement that covered her medical bills and a few other bills on the side.

My wife and I were referred to Joseph by one of our friends. We were thinking of a bigger firm with many billboard advertisements since we never know and heard his name around the town even we lived Gwinnett and DeKalb County for over 20 years. So it was a bit of hesitant to give our case to him. But... long story short, I never had a lawyer that responsive. Unfortunately, I had numerous accidents in the past but most of the lawyers that I dealt with were only requires to meet about two times form the start to the end. First, meet when I handed to the case and signed the contract and when I signing my settlement. In between, normally there's no explanation just wait until lawyer contacts me back. Joseph wasn't like that at all! He was always there to answer all of your questions. He is really responsive whenever I ask him a question. Usually, get answered as soon as in a few minutes. The longest time he took was a few hours because I asked after midnight by email. However, to be honest, not all of the experience with him was so great. Sometimes when we had a question, he really talks a lot. Since he is pretty talkative, we had to cut him quite often especially face to face meetings or with phone calls. So we usually prefer text or email communications. The fee was a bit higher than my previous lawyers. It was between 35% ~ 45% of the total recovered amount depending on the phase of the litigation process. I believe we ended on the phase where the fee was at 40%. So the bottom line, we will definitely recommend him and his team for sure! Hopefully, we don't need to see him again for the reason that we've seen him in the first place but if we need to recover our medical bills or someone needs legal assistance to get their money recovered, we'll be back to him. Also, many people around us kinda surprised since our settlement was way faster than the typical litigation process by other lawyers.
