Ms. Carter- Prompt & Helpful
I really liked Ms. Carter's promptness / courtesy in responding to my message. Although she does not represent in my district, she had stated what she needed and was straight to the point. Further- more, Ms. Carter provided referrals and contact information. Thank you!

Excellent attorney
Ms. Carter has assisted me with a number of legal issues. She has a vast knowledge of employment law and I have seen her doggedly fight for what is right. She has always provided me with clear and consistent communication about the issues and status with the case. She is always open and honest about any situation that has come up and she isn't afraid to let you know the truth. But even if it's bad news she has always been able to come up with a workable solution. I would not hesitate to hire Ms. Carter if I have any employment related issues in the future. I really appreciate all she has done for me as an attorney.

Very Detailed
I would recommend Ms. Carter to anyone who needs a great employment lawyer or civil lawyer. She had to do massive amounts of research for my case in order for all the facts to stand out. She is extremley thorough and truly cared about my situatuion. I felt as if she had a clear understanding of my case and fought untill we won.

Passionate Advocate
I have worked with Meredith for several years where she has represented me on a case of workplace discrimination. If you need an attorney who will be your tireless advocate, she is the one. In my case, she has refused to be intimidated by big company tactics and delays. She 100% believes in what is right, and passionately goes after it. Meredith is very direct in her communication style, so you always know where you stand., even if you may not like the message. Although my case has not been concluded, I know I selected the right attorney for me. I have a tremendous amount of confidence in her abilities and work ethic.

Abusive and neglectful
When I initially consulted with Miss Carter, she immediately took my case stating that I had a very strong one. Upon her request, I gave her a full and super organized file of a timeline of the events pertaining to my situation. For seven months, I never heard from her until I decided to check on the status of my case. She was unreachable. When she finally answered her phone, I was shocked by her response. Out of the blue, in a very unprofessional and rude way, she yelled at me “YOU HAVE A VERY STRONG ACCENT, I CAN’T UNDERSTAND YOU.” Miss Carter, being an employment lawyer, should know better. A speech characteristic is one of the protected classes in the employment place. A few weeks later, she told me that the EEOC had responded and she wanted me to do the work instead of her taking care of the matter as the appointed lawyer. She kempt me in the dark by not communicating. Two weeks after that, the EEOC had issued the Right to Sue. Miss Carter emailed me to let me know that she had withdrawn from my case hence making me lose 2 weeks from the deadline. I eventually lost the whole case.

Response from Meredith Carter September 22, 2016
I'm sorry you feel this way. After I received the Right to Sue from the EEOC, I tried to call, text and email you. I never received a response back, and one of the numbers I had on file for you was disconnected. In addition, I sent you your entire file so you could hire another attorney immediately without losing unnecessary time. Again, I'm sorry you had a bad experience, as this is not something that I normally hear from clients, as I strive for the utmost client satisfaction in every case. Please contact me directly to discuss your specific concerns. Meredith Carter
