Superior Service and Results

In 2015, I was surprised to learn my wife had an affair while I was away for a relative’s funeral in another state. I knew based on the last few years that the marriage was not repairable after that last injustice and I commenced to find an attorney to represent me. Once I met Brad Macdonald, I knew I had found somebody I could trust to ensure that my assets would be protected and that I would still be able to send my two children to college, as both were in high school at the time. Brad and his staff guided me through the process ensuring I was prepared for each hearing and warning me of tactics the other side would attempt to deploy. Once my divorce was finalized, my now ex-wife attempted to sue to gain control of the college account and one of my vehicles. While Brad no longer represented me since the case was closed, he thoroughly researched the issues and produced a stunning affidavit which thoroughly debunked all of my ex’s claims. Because of Brad’s professionalism and thoroughness, both of my children had their college accounts preserved and will complete college debt free. My daughter still drives the vehicle my ex tried to misappropriate and I was able to remarry without fear of further financial repercussions.

As a trial attorney, I have limited my practice exclusively to the areas of divorce and domestic relations law, and focus my energy on the pursuit of superior results for my clients. In the emotionally charged atmosphere peculiar to divorce and domestic relations law it is frequently necessary to prepare for war in the courtroom, while simultaneously pursuing opportunities to reach settlement.

Sometimes, however, settlement is not possible and it is necessary to go to trial, where I have a proven record before both judge and jury. In addition, I have successfully tried complex and high asset divorce cases and have substantial experience litigating issues related to the division of retirement and pension plans. My record of success extends to the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals, where I have effectively advocated for my clients, and have compiled an impressive succes rate.

I am a member of the Family Law and Appellate Sections and Younger Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia; the Family Law Section of the Cobb County Bar Association. I am also a member of the T.C. Williams School of Law and Emory University Alumni Associations and attends Hillside United Methodist Church of Woodstock, Georgia. Aside from my law practice, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, as well as volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America.

The kind of lawyer you want in your corner

Words can't express the gratitude I have for Brad Mcdonald and his firm. After foolishly believing I could handle matters on my own, I retained Mr. Macdonald and can't be happier with that decision. He guided me through every step of my Child Support and Visitation case. He was quick to respond to even the smallest question I had. Great Legal representation

Brad was the best lawyer that I've come in counter with. When deciding to get a divorce I was very worried about legal representation, price and loyalty. Brad was very good knowledgeable in family law he directed me the whole way on my options and allowed me to make the decision mine. Brad's team was very supportive. His paralegal was very good as well. She would always listen to my concerns and communicate them to Brad. She was compassionate, caring, understanding and she would always make me feel confident at the end about my choices. It was a very emotional time for me but I made it through with a smile on my face. The price was very reasonable. The lawyer I had chosen before Brad cost me way more than what Brad's practice charged me. After hearing how long it took most divorces 1 to 2 years before the divorce was final made me very uneasy. However, mine was quick and that was thanks to Brad. From Separation to the divorce day it wasn't even a year. now, I can't say that everyone will have that response but with Brad I cam confident that you would. I would definitely recommend his practice to anyone.

Worthless

Our QRDO has been tied up for 9 months with not even so much as a response from Mr. Macdonald's office. DO NOT WASTE your TIME OR MONEY with this lawyer.
