Philip Kim

I looked at a few on-line sites to look for a lawyer. I realized it was a Traffic/DUI lawyer that I needed to hire. After searching many sites, Mr. Philip Kim was the one that stood out for me, and had no regrets about my decision. I was fighting charges of speeding, failure to maintain lane, and a D...UI. All of this being charged to me because I refused a breathalyzer and so all of these charges were bogus to me and I needed some one to fight for me. From day one, I told Mr. Kim all that I could recite from when I was pulled over. He and his assistant were always great in communicating information in regards to my driver's license (possible suspension) and with my court date. So after a few months, Mr. Kim got my license to not be suspended and that was without needing to appear in court for this. He got the prosecutor to agree to drop the DUI and speeding charges and for me to Nolo contendere to reckless driving. No points on my license, no probation and just to pay one fine. I was very happy, and appreciative that he was able to get me those results. He also provided me a letter of explanation of my court outcome which I needed for my job which that too I was very appreciative of. When I had first read about my charges on-line, and the possible outcomes, it had stressed me and had affected my life. After my court date and the outcome that I received and agreed to, it was such a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders. I would definitely recommend Philip Kim and at least, speak with him before deciding on your final hire of a lawyer. You will not regret hiring this lawyer. I really hope my review helps some one out there that's on the fence about who to hire.

At that time, I had just resolved one case in another part of the state and was navigating a similar set of circumstanc...es in Gwinnett County. From our very first conversation, Mr. Kim was always calm, deliberate, and reassuring. Even as we dealt with delays from the pandemic and turnover in the District Attorney's office, Mr. Kim never failed to advocate tirelessly on my behalf. Although the entire process took nearly four years, the outcome was worth the wait. Half of the charges I was facing were dropped, restitution was agreed to, and the two years of incarceration I was facing were reduced to probation. It was an incredibly fortunate outcome, and it would not have happened without Philip Kim's dedication, legal expertise, and knowledge of the Gwinnett County judicial system. Beyond that, however, is something even more significant, at least to me. From the first time we spoke until the day we walked out of court, I was upfront with Mr. Kim about the mistakes I had made. The charges I was facing were not things I was proud of. Despite that, Philip Kim never treated me like a criminal. Instead, he showed me kindness and compassion. I will always be grateful to him for that. Here's the bottom line: if you're looking for an attorney that will truly work for you, someone who will help you navigate a confusing and dangerous judicial system and come out on the other side, you need to retain Philip Kim right now. I'm thankful I did. You will be too.

I have a horrible awful really just downright bad driving record I mean the list is just long stuff I even forgot about… say all that to say, I hired him and he took me on even with that and got me no points for two cases and just the fees to the court and virtual probation…. More than grateful and t...hankful and would highly recommend him. He also has great staff that has awesome communication. And he’s realistic and tells you exactly what’s going on and not what you need to hear.
