Best Decison I made was hiring Mr. Rouse

I am absolutely thrilled to write this review for the incredible attorney who recently won my case with exceptional skill and dedication. From our first meeting, their expertise and professionalism were evident, instilling confidence and assurance at every step of the legal process. Their deep und...erstanding of the law, coupled with an impressive ability to strategize, made all the difference in my case. They communicated clearly, keeping me informed and involved, ensuring I always understood each aspect of the proceedings. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence were unmatched. What truly sets them apart is their genuine care and empathy. They took the time to understand not just the legal intricacies but also the personal impact of the case on my life, offering support beyond just legal advice. This compassionate approach provided immense comfort during a challenging time. Thanks to their hard work and perseverance, we achieved a favorable outcome that surpassed my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this outstanding lawyer to anyone in need of top-notch legal representation. Their remarkable talent and unwavering dedication make them a true asset to the legal profession!

I cannot thank Mr. Rouse enough for the guidance and support he provided during one of the most challenging periods of my career. Navigating an employment situation in a toxic work environment is hard enough, but when it began to take a toll on my mental health, I knew I needed expert advice to prote...ct myself and plan my next steps carefully. Mr. Rouse helped me understand my rights under FMLA, ensuring I could take the necessary time to focus on my mental health without fear of retaliation. He explained the nuances of my employment contract and worked with me to identify the best way to approach my exit strategy in a way that aligned with both my professional and personal goals. His ability to break down complex legal jargon into clear, actionable advice was invaluable. Beyond his professionalism, he showed genuine empathy and care for my well-being, which made all the difference during such a stressful time. I am thankful for his expertise and guidance, I felt empowered to make decisions that prioritized my health and future. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Rouse to anyone seeking knowledgeable, compassionate, and strategic legal support. He is truly exceptional at what he does.

Exceptional Communicator/Educator

I was referred to Attorney Rouse after a few consultations I made with other attorneys that didn’t go quite so well. You can probably only imagine all the anxiety and stress that builds up by not knowing what to exactly expect (much like most) in an unfamiliar situation like this. I must say, most of... my concerns, my questions and options were pretty much communicated to me in layman’s terms, I felt a sense of ease and quite impressed with my experience in every point of communication. Attorney Rouse was always professional and very patient with making sure he educates you on his knowledge and strategy so you will leave the conversation with some comfort in knowing that both parties are clear in regards to the desired outcome in mind so you just simply have to “Trust the Process”! I must admit by making the choice to choose Attorney Rouse for representation, the overall experience completely exceeded my all of my expectations. For anyone looking to work with an Attorney, who operates with integrity, professionally in such a manner that is not usually represented in the field of Attorneys(I really wish I did not have to point this out), I would definitely (highly) suggest that you reach out Attorney Rouse for consultation. You will quickly realize why you would choose him to represent you. Thank you for creating a safe space/ judgement free zone for clients and giving them an opportunity to be heard. I wish you much success in your future.

Poor listener, not well versed on the law

Attorney Rouse loves the sound of his own voice. That becomes immediately apparent when you realize he’s doing 90% of the talking and 10% of the listening. Even during that 10%, he’s going to interrupt you multiple times, because what you quickly realize with Attorney Rouse is, he doesn’t really care... about you or your needs, he simply doesn’t have the time for all that. Attorney Rouse has been disciplined by the bar previously, on a matter that should have been easily resolved. It wasn’t, because Attorney Rouse is incorrigible. He loves to argue... unfortunately, it’s with his prospective or current clients. I sent Attorney Rouse a very concise brief on what I wished to discuss with him, prior to retaining him. He never read it. Rather, he preferred to spend 2 hours on the phone with me pontificating on matters that did not pertain to my case, rather than simply answering my very direct questions. He does not return phone calls in a timely manner and he does not respond to email. When you finally get him on the phone, he’s a poor listener and does not possess a firm grasp of the law. Based on my limited interaction with Attorney Rouse, he does not possess the knowledge, empathy nor professionalism needed to properly represent his clients.

My Attorney for life.

Carlton, came to me highly recommended by a co-worker and personal friend. I was truly in need, I was blind-sided, scared and confused. Carlton has been AMAZING! To date, I’ve used the services of Rouse & Co. LLC, for multiple cases both Domestic (Custody battle) & Personal injury. Carlton is fair,... honest, trustworthy, affordable and most importantly gets RESULTS. In my personal cases, the other parties went through multiple attorneys, didn’t honor agreements and tried every dirty play possible. Carlton was/is spot on with his case and arguments, he’s always several steps ahead on every level. He is not afraid to step up and take charge of a situation, while also controlling his situation like a well conducted orchestra. Carlton understands this is ALL (every call, meeting or hearing) is personal for his clients, so he gives the opportunity for personal discussions and time to HEAL. While providing a focus and attentiveness to details that helps secure the best position possible for the case. I recommend Rouse & Co. LLC, for all you legal needs.

"I first met Carlton while we were in law school together. Then, as now, he was a very caring person who was diligent about his work. Both of us left our native cities (him Atlanta, me Los Angeles) to go to law school in Boston, and then both of us accrued experience in different cities. That he eventually returned to the Atlanta area shows me that he cares about his roots and the community where he came from. I recommend him without reservation."

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2015.

Review Panel Reprimand issued in GA, 2015

updated on 07/06/2018

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

S.’s comment:

“In 2014 a premises liability client, in a case against a large corporate defendant, refused to pay the costs associated with his case after the bills were paid in advance by the firm (upon his request) and despite previous notices related to the court/case costs. He decided to withdraw his claim and requested his file. I withdrew from the case within sixty days and returned the file. He complained that he wanted his copy of the file sooner.”
