Would not recommend

Hired for child custody/ paternity issues. Issues were not resolved, and she did not refund any of the 7K flat fee I paid her, or any of the additional fees I paid her for the “piece work” she did before I retained her. She has the term “non refundable” in her contract for legal services which is mi...sleading. If you don’t agree with her “legal strategies” expect her to withdrawal from your case and not refund any of the money you paid her. Also very rude. If you look at previous reviews on google, anyone that left her a negative review she had to clap back, which IMO is very unprofessional.

My policy is to be nice until it is time to not be nice - and frankly, this is as it should be. If I was rude to you - then you deserved it. I told you what needed to be done and you refused to do it. I told you what would happen if you continued to refuse and you opted to continue to refuse. So now bad things are happening to you. You did this to yourself because I gave you more warning than you deserved.

Question

I googled my question and this forum was one of my pop ups. I didn’t realize this link was for people to ask a lawyer a legal question. So when it said to ask your question, I did. Again, bc I didn’t get the purpose of this forum, my question didn’t make sense to the lawyer that answered, which to...tally makes sense. But her response was surprising. See below her response: “You you saying you are an attorney asking for advice on how to properly represent your clients? If so, this likely ain't the forum for you.” I was looking to see who wrote this answer bc I couldn’t tell for a second, and I thought it was just a random person responding bc of the way they talked. But quickly realized this was actual Atty, and was surprised at how uneducated she she presented herself. So I checked out the reviews, and was shocked that a lawyer in any community would speak to anyone like she did. All the people that didn’t give her a good review she basically called them liars and talked down to them condescendingly. So I’m sure I’ll be next, but as someone said earlier that her comments only reflect who she is. I feel sorry for her and would hope these reviews would help her see that it’s her attitude, not the people asking questions, that’s driving the negative comments and reviews towards her. I highly recommend this Atty get some counseling for her anger issues. Or she won’t have a practice to work.

Yes, my comments reflect who I am - as do yours. Hey, there are lots of stupid people in the world - that is just a fact. I don't have anger issues I just don't like tolerating those stupid people. So you admit you screwed up, yet want to blame me. I guess that is to be expected from someone who can't handle their own clients properly and can't figure out the proper forum for help. Here's one last bit of advice - you make yourself look stupid when you say contradictory and hypocritical things like you 'feel sorry for me' but yet post a one star review for something that was your fault. Normal people understand that when they post a question on a public forum they may get answers they like and agree with and / or answers they don't like or agree with. Bottom line you just didn't like my answer so you decided to be a jerk about it. Again that is understandable from someone like you but don't think you can disguise what is actually your anger with hypocritical and contradictory statements - smart people can see who you really are. As to my practice, luckily there are way more smart, nice people who post good reviews about me - than simple disgruntled people like you who just don't like hearing the truth. Which is why my rating is 4.6.

Rude and very bad at law

She responded to my question with a very rude remark and followed up with more. She acted as though I were stupid. Very unprofessional and acts as though she is menstruating with every reply. She also does not know law very well at all could not even answer my question properly. No way I would ever h...ire her and I feel sorry for those who do.

You asked a question and I answered it. Everyone with common sense understands that when you post a question o a public forum, you may get responses you don't like or don't agree with. You do not get to dictate the manner in which I respond and if you didn't like it well - that's on you. Besides with comments like "acts as though she is menstruating" you pretty much have painted yourself as the complete jerk here for anyone reading your review. So thanks for making my point for me.
