We were fortunate to receive a recommendation from a friend to contact the Knox Law Firm, specifically Allen and that he would take care of us. They were correct. Allen not only handled the cases successfully, but he became a mentor to my boys and talked with them to make sure they understood how they got in the mess and what they did wrong and how could they have made things better, worse, etc. Therefore, they learned from him as well. He said he treated them just like he would treat his own sons. Each case Allen handled for us, he won. It might have taken two years to finalize, but Allen always knew which Judge, DA, etc. he wanted there when he made his case and until the right people were in the right seats, he asked for a new court date. Once all the people were where he wanted them, he presented the case making the other side wonder why they even showed up. Many times, Allen's humor made the Judge laugh as well as the entire court room. He has a way of making the other side look a little foolish which can lighten the atmosphere which is always a plus in a court room. We always felt Allen's fees were very reasonable and he made it where we could make monthly payments to help us financially. He quotes you a price upfront and even if the case takes another direction and he must take additional time, he never increased his fees. In fact, he provided us with discounts for coming back to him and for referring others. I would highly recommend Allen and the entire Knox Law Firm to everyone. I was pulled over and arrested for DUI on a weekend in Charlotte. This was the first time that I had ever been arrested, handcuffed, and went to jail . Not a very pleasant experience for being a middle aged man. I was horrified about the entire experience but also felt panic because I knew I had to ...make the "right choice" for an attorney. I did my own research, narrowed my choices down and decided to go with Allen Brotherton. IN HINDSIGHT, I COULD NEVER HAVE MADE A BETTER DECISION. Allen was straightforward, honest, and, very importantly, extremely positive. I still remember him saying in our initial meeting, "if there is a way to win your case, I will find it." And Sherry was FANTASTIC. She talked me down off the ledge on several occasions as the calm voice of reason. My case dragged out over 9-10 months with about a half dozen trips to court.
