DUI

Was convicted at the second hearing. I had never been in trouble in my life. The judge threw the book at me. It was like I didn't even have a lawyer. This was back in 2009. The judge ate Mr. Mr. McConnelly for breakfast and I basically wasted my money. I wasn't offered a refund even though he barely ...spent anytime on my case. I felt robbed. He told me not to appeal, which was shocking to me. You should always appeal. Now that I am older I realize I made a huge mistake that has affected my medical career for many years! i even blew under the legal limit. It should have been an open and shut case with the defense he presented but he seemed very unorganized. The judge was a jerk. I was too young to know better.

READ THIS!: CCW Appeal Successfully Executed!

Hire Mr. Connelly. He is a good man and will do right by you, regardless of whatever trouble you get in. My story: I was denied my CCW application in Charlotte. I found Chris on AVVO website during my search for a qualified attorney. I emailed him and had a direct reply within hours. He instruct...ed me to come to his office the next morning for a consultation. In the world of attorneys, this is basically unheard of. We met for about an hour and he filled me in on his experience with these types of cases, and believe me there are dozens of them if not more, per month. He was professional, smart, experienced, very confident, tenacious and tough as nails. You want all of these attributes when you hire counsel. Once I hired him, he had a detailed set of instructions to complete to help support my case, including getting reference letters and other items to illustrate my good character. For heaven's sake, follow his instructions. He really knows what he is doing. We filed the appeal and after a few months of waiting for the courts, I was approved and the CCW denial was overruled. Throughout this time, he and his friendly staff would update me on my case status. In short, I simply could not have done this successfully without him. If you are denied your 2nd Amendment rights as I was, look no further. Attorney Chris Connelly is the right person for the job.

CCW Permit

I applied for my CCW permit in June of 2016. I was notified in October of that same year that my permit was denied due to some information shared by my medical provider. First, the sheriff took more time than what is legally allowed to review my permit. Second, and more importantly, I was wrongful...ly and subjectively categorized as being ineligible to have a CCW permit based on North Carolina's mental health law. I contacted Chris Connelly and explained to him my case. I could see during our introductory meeting that he was very passionate about defending me as he had heard far too many other cases of honest, hard-working, law-abiding citizens being denied their Second Amendment rights based on the subjective thinking of Mecklenburg County's liberal activist sheriff. I followed Chris's instructions to the letter, providing him all necessary documentation and referral letters in a timely manner. By March of 2017, I was notified that Chris had won our appeal and my legal right to possess a CCW was upheld. I cannot thank Chris Connelly enough and would highly recommend anyone faced with a similar case to contact him immediately. DO NOT take this challenge on alone. You only have one chance at a CCW appeal. Make it count. Hire Chris Connelly.

Meck county DUI

I met with Mr. Connelly for my initial consultation, and was scared to death bc I have never been in trouble with the law. I was being charged with a DUI for the first time in my entire life. Mr. Connelly was straight forward with me from the beginning and put me at ease right away. Even though the e...mense stress I was under, he even took the time to tell me how to handle those around me that were extremely judgemental. He was candid and I knew I had found the best attorney to represent me. I admired him for being so candid and was able to think outside of the box, which is want to look for in a great attorney. After many continuations, it was finally my day to stand before the judge. My destiny was hanging in front of me. Mr . Connolley stayed by my side and when he began to speak on my behalf, I was truly amazed. His legal knowledge was outstanding. The outcome was my case was dismissed and found innocent on all accounts, and I owe it all to him. Fantastic attorney that is not only a winner but someone that puts you at ease throughout such difficult times. No need to look for any other attorney during difficult times. He is truly the BEST!!!!

Greatest and Most Qualified 2nd Amendment Attorney in Charlotte, NC

The 2nd Amendment is deeply personal. This right is explicit in the Constitution and is critical for the individual liberty that lies at the foundation of our great nation. Our law enforcement officers do the very best that they can, but with budget cuts and the nature of violence, our law enforcem...ent officials are far more likely to respond to a crime after it has been committed, rather than be present to protect us before or during a violent crime. To support this, just look at the FBI data from 2014 that revealed 1,165,383 violent crimes (murder and non-negligent homicides, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults) were reported by law enforcement. Ultimately, stats like these and the meteoric rise in mass killings in places like Paris, San Bernardino, Aurora, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, and Columbine prompted me to seek a permit that would allow me to take responsibility for my family’s protection. So, when my permit request was denied, I was dismayed and didn’t know what to do. Fortunately, I was referred to Christopher Connelly, an attorney who fervently believes in and was willing to fight for my 2nd Amendment rights. Mr. Connelly and his entire staff were professionals in every sense of the word. Christopher’s counsel was excellent. His approach was personable, professional, and legally sound. Within a few months, my permit was approved and my rights were restored. If you are dealing with a 2nd Amendment issue, I firmly believe there is no greater or more qualified attorney in Charlotte, NC than Christopher Connelly. I assure you, he is on your side and will do everything in his power to receive a judgment in your favor. I recommend him in the highest regard and I’m forever grateful to him and his staff.

Together we resolved the client's problems so our client was able to drive legally after. 20 + years of license suspension. I'd happily refer clients to Mr Connelly for serious criminal charges and for garden-variety misdemeanors as well."
