My husband and I hired Amy to handle the adoption of our daughter last year. We had little to no experience with adoption and Amy did a fantastic job of walking us through the process. Our daughter was born in ano...ther state so Amy worked with our lawyer in Kansas to coordinate the inter-state paperwork so we could bring our baby home. After running into complications with finalizing an out of state adoption, we hired Amy to facilitate finalizing the adoption in North Carolina. Amy is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the requirements and laws of North Carolina adoption and was extremely competent in the various phases... of our finalization process. She had to coordinate her efforts with the out of state adoption agency and was diligent in contacting and following up with them until she received all the necessary paperwork we needed to file in North Carolina. Amy was always readily available to meet, email or talk on the phone to answer any of our questions and frequently gave us updates on the status of our case. Her friendly professionalism was the perfect fit for us and we are so glad she was part of our adoption journey. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
