I have a passion for adoption that derives from firsthand and family experience. My aunt started the first international adoption program in Georgia, and she and her husband adopted two children from Korea . . . my first cousins. Years later when I was married and yearning for children, my aunt assisted my husband and me in adopting our sweet daughter from Peru.

In my eighteen years of practice, I have completed more than 3,500 adoptions, and I hope to reach the 4,000 mark in 2015.

I have compassion and empathy for birth parents, who make a huge sacrifice to provide a safe and loving home for children they cannot parent, and for adoptive families, who open their hearts and homes to children in need. Because adoption is my primary area of practice, cases are handled in my office with efficiency and expediency, so no family has to wait longer than necessary to become a "forever home" for a child.

Best Adoption Lawyer and Assistant!

Josie and her assistant Stacy are the best hands down! They kept us in the loop the whole process start to finish. If I had a question they were very proactive to respond quickly. We just finished with finalization yesterday and received communication all in the same day! I would highly recommend Josie to everyone that is looking for an adoption lawyer. The best part was knowing all the costs up front and not being surprised with a huge bill at the end.

Turned it all around for the best

Ms. Redwine took on our adoption case when previous counsel was failing to assure the custody of our children to us from the hospital. She worked quickly and set the proper course of action. She was very diligent in reviewing the previous counsel's work and found many errors that could have possibly threatened the permanency of the adoption in the future if someone would have chosen to contest it. We are grateful that we hired Ms. Redwine when we did as her knowledge and familiarity with the whole process turned a potential huge problem into a much more manageable situation.

Very thorough and effective!

My husband and I retained Josie Redwine for the domestication of our adoption, and to assist in obtaining certificates of citizenship. Great Attorney!!

I hired Mrs Redwine to represent me in a contested adoption case in Paulding County Superior Court. Mrs. Redwine gave me total confidence and peace of mind going throughout the entire process. Great experience!

My wife and I recently retained Josie for our finalization and the process was very smooth. The hearing lasted less than 30 minutes due to Josie's hard work and thoroughness throughout the process. Awesome Adoption Attorney!

My wife and I were referred to Josie to coordinate finalization for the out of state adoption of our newborn daughter earlier last year. Josie was very helpful in explaining the process and guiding us through every step of the way. As a result, the court finalization proceedings could not have gone more smoothly. Moreover, Josie reviewed with us the follow-up steps that were needed after finalization. When the state adoption agency made a records error on one of the court documents, Josie quickly had the matter resolved. We appreciated Josie's knowledge and attention to detail.

Private Adoption

Josie was my attorney for my daughter's adoption. Josie was very knowledgeable when I had questions regarding the adoption process especially since she was going to represent me in Georgia and I had a lawyer in the state that my daughter was born. Josie assisted in finding an attorney for me in the state that my daughter was going to be born in. She was very expeditious with the process of having my documents ready for ICPC and also for my court hearing. Excellent Adoption Attorney

We were referred to Ms. Redwine for a contested step-parent adoption and were very pleased with our choice. She was extemely knowledgeable of adoption law and very confident in her abilities. She showed professionalism in all circumstances and was agressive when needed to get the results we wanted. She was successful in getting our case to the point the biological father dismissed his petition to legitimate and surrendered his rights. Absolutely the best adoption attorney in GA

Josie Redwine helped me with the adoption of my daughter a few years ego. My profession requires that I work with many lawyers and one of them recommended that I call Josie Redwine. I must say that working with Josie Redwine has been my best attorney experience so far. She is quite knowledgeable in her field. In fact the judge in our case was seeking advice from Ms. Redwine on another case. She specializes in contested and difficult adoptions and her fees are reasonable. She offered me a fixed rate which I liked better than the customary hourly rate. I have recommended Josie to many of my friends and will continue to do so. Any bad reviews here must be from an opposing party who lost to Josie Redwine.

Excellent attorney!

I retained the services of Ms. Redwine for a simple will. She was extremely professional and timely in her response to my request. In addition to this personal experience with Ms. Redwine, I have also had several friends who used her as their adoption attorney. A few of these adoptions were uncontested and very simple. However there were several that became quite involved and lengthy. This is where Ms. Redwine truly shined. Her level of professionalism and compassion for both the adoptive parents and the birth parents was quite impressive. THE BEST ADOPTION LAWYER ANYONE CAN ASK FOR

I am proud to say Attorney Josie Redwine is the absolute best. She has helped me with my 3 foreign born children. My children were born our of the united states and Attorney Redwine patiently assisted me in securing all my documents, coached and informed me of all the necessary needed information to have all 3 of my children who are my biological nephew and nieces. April 2014 Hiring of Josie

Josie helped me to adopt my two boys in April of this year. After a very lengthy fostering process, she told me what to expect during the Adoption Hearing, the information I needed to provide and the timing and also followed-up when the birth-certificates for my boys weren't correct. She was open, honest, straight-forward and came highly recommended from not only my adoption agency, but two other couples who hired Josie for their adoptions.

Josie Redwine is the best

Ours was a contested adoption, and a highly stressful one at that. The biological father was not on board with our adoption plan (although he never once lifted a finger to help our son and was incarcerated awaiting sentencing). Josie did a fantastic job anticipating how the entire scenario was most likely going to play out and we were well prepared when it did. If you need someone skilled at manuvering the intricacies of a contested adoption, I'm convinced you cannot do better in Georgia than Josie Redwine.

Review of attorney Josie Redwine

Ms. Redwine handled our very complicated adoption matter in Cobb County Superior Court. She guided us through Juvenile and Superior court proceedings. We were able to adopt the four-year-old child that has lived with us since he was one year old, even though birth mother had three pro bono attorneys at her table.
