I have a passion for adoption that derives from firsthand and family experience. My aunt started the first international adoption program in Georgia, and she and her husband adopted two children from Korea . . . my first cousins. Years later when I was married and yearning for children, my aunt assisted my husband and me in adopting our sweet daughter from Peru.
In my eighteen years of practice, I have completed more than 3,500 adoptions, and I hope to reach the 4,000 mark in 2015.
I have compassion and empathy for birth parents, who make a huge sacrifice to provide a safe and loving home for children they cannot parent, and for adoptive families, who open their hearts and homes to children in need. Because adoption is my primary area of practice, cases are handled in my office with efficiency and expediency, so no family has to wait longer than necessary to become a "forever home" for a child.

Josie and her assistant Stacy are the best hands down! They kept us in the loop the whole process start to finish. If I had a question they were very proactive to respond quickly. We just finished with finalization yesterday and received communication all in the same day! I would highly recommend Jos...

"I highly endorse this lawyer. She is thorough, experienced and caring. Very capable in her field and highly regarded by other attorneys."
"Josie Redwine is among the most knowledgeable and competent adoption attorneys in the state of Georgia. I have seen, "around the Internet," postings by people who evidently troll around looking for chances to trash adoption in general, and one of Ms. Redwine's alleged client reviews appears to fit this mold. I don't doubt that unethical adoption practices could, and understandably WOULD, make people sour on adoption. Unfortunately, many of them are SO sour that they think maligning EVERY adoption (or adoption attorney) will somehow atone for their own prior bad experiences. I have often seen this be the sole basis for their negative statements about adoption, rather than any substantive criticism of the specifics they claim to be addressing. I have myself been the subject of such criticisms, and one should be suspect when such criticisms give no specifics to support them."
"I endorse this lawyer.I have worked with Josie through the Georgia Council of Adoption Lawyers. She is an ethical attorney and a zealous advocate for her clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. Josie is an excellent attorney. She is a tireless advocate for her clients and always gives 100%."
