My wife and I hired Amy for the adoption of our son. We came in from out-of-state after having been matched only to discover, after arriving, that our homestudy had just expired. For the next few days it seemed like we lived out of Amy's office as she did everything she could to get us approved to take our son home. Throughout the entire (very stressful) process, we had complete faith in Amy and she never disappointed. In addition to being a highly skilled lawyer, Amy was also caring, friendly, and easy to contact... just what two new stressed-out parents needed. My wife and I cannot recommend Amy highly enough.

My wife and I recently adopted our son from Charlotte, NC (we live in CA). It was a very difficult and contested adoption. Amy was incredibly well versed in state adoption laws and was able to help us navigate through a myriad of legal issues that arose during the process. She was also instrumental in helping us with the ICPC process.
She's kind, compassionate, responsive and most importantly, dedicated to her clients. We couldn't be more satisfied with her services and recommend her without reservation.

I was a client of Amy Wallas for two adoptions. The first was a private-open adoption. The second was a state foster care adoption. I am very thankful to have had Amy for both adoptions. She saved us a lot of time and energy. She was very knowledgeable, easy to reach and available 24/7.
