Amy was hired by us to be our lawyer for our adoption of our little girl. Our adoption was an out of state adoption from Georgia..we live in North Carolina. The adoption was smooth and we worked with the adoption agency in Georgia and with Amy here in North Carolina. Amy gave us the referral for t...he adoption because we had contacted her previously to represent us for an adoption that was supposed to happen with a baby from Oklahoma. That adoption didn't happen because our re-finance of our home did not go through in time for the adoption agency in Oklahoma. So when the birth mom in Georgia was looking for adoptive parents, Amy contacted us to see if we had found new birth parents yet and we had stated we had not. She asked us if we were interested in putting in our names to the birthmom in Georgia and we stated we were definitely interested. If it wasn't for Amy, we would not have our little girl!
